Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Herb gardener...
This is a great thread, your all so nice....

And I'm very happy to be part of this family....

One thing does spring to mind though, why are you not telling everyone about this....I feel like i need to go back to the eq thread, and let everyone know. I could have had an EVO ages ago id not spent the money on other vapes and accessories....

But I know I can't go round promoting a product...

I just think if people knew the EVO, they would spend the money.....

I persuaded a few people to buy an eq over the last year, I need to pay them a visit...

Well now, last night was certainly one to remember, from what I remember.....

I haven't been that high, ever...this machine is truly breathtaking....

I consumed about 5 elbs last night. At various temps..I understand now to get the unit hot. And I do like a primer draw to clear the air in the ht, and get the vapour flowing, before my proper draw.... and what beautiful vapour, I've never tasted vapour that good before, it's on a whole new level. I could never make my eq match the taste, or the density...and if I did get close to that density, it would be so dry and harsh, that I wouldn't be able to vape again for half hour. But with the evo, I can keep going, it's truly biblical....

I understand now why people were saying to just get one, and I'll regret not doing it sooner...

Oh and that ht turbine is glorious....

Off to dhgate to looks at others....

I fucking love my evo, and I love you all for convincing me to do it...

Thanks fc'ers............
Awesome so happy you like it, You prob wont be using the Eq's much anymore. I am a true converter. I tried telling the Eq thread about the Evo but no one wanted to really listen. I think i even told you awhile back , but i am glad now that you know for your self.

I've noticed a lot of back and forth about using the EVO with a Dry attachment. I never really liked the provided glass mouthpiece for the EVO. It just seemed the vapor came in hot and harsh. I saw a member here mention they thought a Steamroller would be cool for the EVO . I had no idea what it was, but decided to do some research. The design was a very cool thought for cooling the vapor in my opinion.
I contacted @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd to reach into his Cauldron of creative juices, and got permission from @Enchantre:nod::clap::tup::rockon: (wherever she's been lately:shrug:) to totally steal her idea. The result was the hands down best attachment to my EVO ever. @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd once again! This piece is just simply AMAZING! It literally rolls and spirals the vapor cooling it while giving you PURE FLAVOR BLASTING unbelievableness! This also allows you to take low temps that produce light blue vapor with the most flavor. This vapor would feel nonexistent through water. I'm talking 9 oclock and LOWER people! Without further delay Some may Have see this piece before the newer EVO owners may have not. I give you the KRACKEN!

Further to the dry/harsh vapor ism, I have found two annoying issues with my EVO,

The most annoying is that sometimes when I inhale, the cap on the ELB flies up into the Hydratube! WTF?
Notwithstanding the times when I forget to replace it after stirring herb, and then all the shit flies up into the bottom of Hydratube, yuk!!

The other annoying thing is when the green light turns red during a session, I then turn it off and then back on again as per instruction, however, the light sometimes flickers intermittently, and I then have to turn it off and on again a couple of times, or even leave it minute, before turning it back on, before it settles down, i.e. goes solid red and then back to green!

I fucking DON'T like that, at all!!

One does not get that shit with the Digit!!

For the cap issue ,lay it flat and push down on it to expand it. For the other issue turn the EVo to 12oclock an toggle the switch on and off four or 5 times to take it factory reset!

Don't diss the EQ, it does a good job, and if the truth be known, if you put an hydratube on the EQ (and crank the fan) then you will be surprised at how bad the EQ can be! It would certainly test the EVO - for sure!

PS: For the avoidance of doubt, I use the EVO (practically) on a nightly basis,

Please don't get me wrong, I am a huge eq fan, and will always have one. I appreciate the many things it can do, and that it's possible (modded) to do them very well too...

In my experience I could get the eq to taste as good as the evo, and I could get it to produce vapour as thick (almost), but certainly not the two together...

I think my eq will only becoming out on the rare occasion that I get a few visitors, or maybe as a travel desktop....

I've only scratched the surface of the evo so far, I'm off home to scratch more....

@ Captain Connoisseur, Hey Cap, thanks for the advice, I just love it when a G gives you the Down Low... and its a useful SP!

@kellya86; Nah get me right, I ain't dissing, I hear you re the EQ and the lack of thick vapor, but if you attach your Hydratube to the EQ, then (strength of herb permitting) you will be pleasantly surprised, especially if you load the elbow and not the bowl!

As for EVO, yeah its great finding your own idiosyncratic technique for using it!

Ps Enjoy the scratching about!!

Getting Lost
Hello VXL fam...

Just dropping by to say my unit, two years later is still my main heavy hitter, and to pass along some words of advice.
Your ELB's should be regularly cleaned in ISO or PBW, for optimal performance.
But, you should try putting just the cap of the elb in the unit and try hitting it on max.

Caps become clogged with oil, and can easily result in a few massive rips for those interested in stretching out the almighty vape dollar, just a little further.

@kellya86, I was so glad to read your post above. I know you've been very diligent in preparing for your EVO baptism, but understandably cautious. It's commendable that you did your homework so well for your maiden voyage. Now is just the beginning though . . . over the days and weeks to come you will no doubt just build on the experience last night.

Welcome to the EVO family!:rockon:

P.S. Appears you may already be infected with GAS. Common, but helluva lot of fun, although it can put you in the poor house. :)

:myday::peace:

I'm quite sure the Evo in capable of inflicting GAS on the unaware!

Before the Evo I had one piece and felt fine about it. Since the Evo entered my life I've added the turbine with it and another piece, and have been all over the threads and web looking at everything!

Let us begin our journey @kellya86 !

Um, letting your Q mates know about your EVO experience probably won't go over too well, not if past experience is any indication. Even here on this thread there have been pretty strong words thrown at some folks for being "fan boys."

A vape is a very personal thing. Loyalty is a factor. Investment of self and $ is another. And then there are some subtle issues in play too, sort of like how some folks feel about the neighbor having a Porsche in their driveway if you catch my drift.

@vtac has rules about keeping a thread on the topic/device it is about, and not allowing squabbles over comparisons and unproductive complaints. Good rules.

I'd guess that most experienced vaporists know about the EVO. There are other good machines out there; e.g., some EVO users switched to the Herbie. @TeeJay1952's mansions post comes to mind again.

I had a Eq , Ddave kit an a few hydra tubes for years. The thing with the Eq is it was not designed to have a hydratube on top of it. It is allot more fragile than the Evo and it just does not feel right with a Ht sitting on top of it. I have tried it a few times with my Eq. It does work but the Eq was not made with weight being put on top of it in mind. I have seen pictures of members who have taken there Eq's apart and you can clearly see that glass inside can break easily if your not careful. Plus i have tried all the mod's and while its a great device and was one of my favorite vapes for a long time , it does not hold a candle to the Evo. I could never get my Eq to milk as thick and quickly as my Evo could.

I tried my damndest to get any of my HT's to work with the Q, but it was just never effective (at least for me) not to speak of being not easy to use. I think I even posted one version on the Q thread. I had modded my Q before DDave began his project (and helped DDave some with his); I think it was @Seek who did one of the earliest and more sophisticated mods. I had friends with Q's, and hoped we could get the Q to sort of be an inexpensive EVO-like alternative. Dave's work is probably the best, but my friends finally threw up their hands and went to a newer mid-range vape, keeping the Q for group bags. Personally, my old lungs just can't handle harshness anymore, and good lord how I hate a whip now.

I didn't necessarily want to pay for a Rolls to just go the market, but that's what these old bones needed. Besides, comfort is comfort, regardless of how short the trip. So I just gave in and accepted it, as one learns to do when one gets older, whether one wants to or not. :D

Reshaping your cap slightly will provide a tighter fit.
All the red light tells you is that EVO is not quite at set temp and is either heating or cooling to reach set temp. The flickering just means EVO is right on the dividing line between needing to adjust and not. A heat soaked EVO seems to mitigate this a little, but relax, don't worry and enjoy. The only time you need to turn the device off/on is when you see the repeating pattern of blinks which tells you the auto shutoff timer (1 hour) has been activated.

I have the Turbine HT, it is superb however if you chase flavour you cannot beat the standard or short glass mouthpiece, far better flavour than through water and equally as smooth.

i

I'd like to second this. I'm sure the Turbine HT makes for an interesting experience, but I've never used the EVO with anything but the standard, and it's in a class by itself.

I'd like to third that! Flavor! That's my daily do.....

Don't get me wrong though....thanks to @stickstones I understand the allure of the EVO/glass/water combo for ripping off the top of the drain-bammage charts.
