Glass is a much better insulator than metal so that makes sense.
I notice my cap has 2 clicks... one softer and then a slightly louder click. Like a pre- click just before a main click. This happens on both warm up and cool down click.

Both of mines do the same. And they're diferent, one if the new shgorter cap and the other is the original one.
I think that most of them double click?

I had same thinking, and it is true that glass heat tranfert is slower, so it holds heat longer in same conditions (and it get hot slower too)
Before buying it, I discussed with George right about this: I was afraid that with so differents materials in terms of heat transfert, also performances would be affected, I loved my originals VCs
Finally I prefer heat management with Ti tip, through a rather tight airflow setting with omnivap (95% of my VC use). Basic ti tip I also prefer to glass.
I believe they need different heating ritual though, when you are used to ti tip I think it is more difficult to use properly a glass one and vice versa (for the little story I was showing an OG to a friend and I combusted first time after months

Ordered an exotic wooden mp/condenser for my woody and a dynastash xl which left me with a lonely regular sized condenser. I couldn't leave that just lying around so I ordered a vong body for it to live in.

I have used my VC with both wax and shatter. Most often I just place it on a bit of flower, but I have also used a tiny bed of degummed hemp fiber or even suspended a tiny screen in the bowl.
Using a bit of flower takes the least effort. I only use this approach for bedtime meds...

She's not 100% wrong, we do have our share of assholes (or maybe just members having asshole moments) but this is definitely the most chill forum I've ever found.

She is partially correct, however, due to the hard work of the mods, and diligent reporting by FC folks, it seems the assholes just don't stay around here very long. Thats one of the reasons I love this place

How do I get hold of this Matt fellow? TAKE MY MONEY! This has got to be the best fishing, camping, snowmobiling, motorcycling, backpacking, zombie apocalypse vape I can imagine. Just have to bring a few lighters to avoid bringing a can of 'Tane, but even if your blue flame lighter runs out you can heat alternatively. I think I might need to spring for an omni if I have to go on a waiting list, it looks like that's the way to go? Advice here? Can you use an omni with water somehow? And does the omni pair with a stash? If the omni works well with concentrates I want the stash with the container. Can that also hold flower? I'm so excited for this vape. My love for butane vapes seems to be growing.

I admit, I don't use it often enough, but I just pulled out my Omni.
Used it with ratchet's silicone adapter and my new glass from Joda, and my god. Beautiful, tasty clouds, perfectly even abv. This thing is a godsend. So simple, so perfect.
I still find I get best results with my double-flame scorch. Tri and quad flames are too easy to combust with, and single flames just take so long I always worry I'm gonna miss the click.

Yes ... sort of..
The common element between the glass tipped Vapcap S and a Ti tipped model is the condenser and the cap.
So, to convert a Vapcap S to a Ti model you would need to buy:
- a Ti tip
- a 62mm stem midsection of your choice, straight or VonG.
or
- a 45mm short body midsection, straight or VonG and a wood mouthpiece.
All you would have left over from the conversion would be the glass body/ bowl, rubber mp and the extra glass condenser that the Vapcap S comes with. If you got another cap, you would then have two functional vapes, an OG Vapcap and a Ti Woody.
Or...Rather than ordering almost all the parts for a Woody, it may be more practical to just order a complete Ti Woody.
My recommendation would be to buy the OG Vapcap on sale this week for $25 US and add a Woody to your shopping cart. Or you could wait, test the OG ,then go back and order the Woody or VonG or Omni....cause you will....just sayin'.

Yes, you can use the omni with water... If you get one of the silicone mouthpieces for the OG, you can slide it over the omni mouthpiece and it'll makes a pretty good seal on a 14mm glass joint. George was giving the silicone mouthpieces away for free at one point, but even if he's charging, it should only be a couple dollars or so. The adjustable airflow allows you to dial in the sweet spot to milk up your glass piece, and allows you to adjust for each specific pieced as some bubblers need more restriction than others.
The omni fits into the regular sized dynastash, and the dynastashER has a silicone container and tool for concentrates. If you message @VapCap , he does do DynastashER with two silicone containers- you could use one for concentrates and one for avb. All models of Dynastash come with a flower chamber to store your herb.

And I have observed something funny, sometimes those assholes end becoming interesting members of the comunity
But I'm with you, totally love FC. It feels like a big family!

I got a new toy to use my OmniVap with today, courtesy of the wonderful @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd at JoDa Glassworks. The functionality on this recycler is amazing, I'm really digging it so far!
I can't wait till my Ti Burly VonG comes in, talk about a beautiful combo! I'll make sure to post pics when that happens.
THAT....is screaming hot, mate. I'm thinking its a reasonably small piece (and I mean that as a benefit).
Custom built or is there a link I can look at it?
