I am not sure you got what I am saying, unless you have a vastly different batch of wax. BTW like I said I have made organic wax & lotion so I am speaking from experience. It is too WAXY - Rather than a butter. Application is not the problem, its the film it leaves. Other log vapes have a more buttery mix that is more oily and absorbs rather than sits on top.

Regardless nice unit.

I get what you are saying perfectly; PD has "buzz BUTTER" and the WZ had "Woodeez WAX". In order to make the WZ Wax more applicable, I take off the top cover to my wax, I then take the side that has the wax facing up and I set it upside down on top of my heat exchanger to kinda melt the wax. Once that is done I can now easily and evenly apply the wax to the piece. I understand you would rather use your oil, but just encase you run out and need to use the wax you can try my method.
Oh and thank you :D

Good for you. You know who else does that? Everyone that has a log vape.

Do yourself a favor and try using a organic lip balm with shea butter. It will give your log vape an awesome color and finish.

Ordered my custom Woodeez last night and expect it here sometime mid week. Todd has amazing customer service and put up with all my questions and emails. After doing a week of reading threads I decided to go with Woodeez because Todd's professionalism seemed a lot better than other options available. It also was quick and easy communicating with Todd, my WDZ will ship fast, and its a "custom" shape. I will post reviews and videos once I receive my Woodeez, and it wont take weeks! The main reasons I bought the WDZ is because their was no "bidding" war on web sites, no harmful metals (to my knowledge), no delay in shipping and I also think he handles himself well on the forums and in his email responses.

Elight, you did the exact same thing as me, and you won't regret your decision!

I've had mine a few weeks now and love it! It's plugged in 24/7 so it's always ready. It takes a few stems to learn how to pack and draw (being my first vape) but once you figure it out, there's nothing better. Efficiency with these vapes is incredible, and I think it will pay for itself in no time.

MY REVIEW

my first thoughts on the WDZ when it arrived was how small it was. smaller than a coke can. the piece i received was cut from a very good looking piece of wood. it seems solid. after a week or so i started have problems with my adapters. it burned out 3 plugs i had in less then a month. not cool.

i started having second thoughts about leaving this thing on 24/7. i even voiced my concern to Todd (great guy and he returns emails in minutes.lol). he told me he would replace it no charge. i got it ready for shipping but never sent it off.(self induced laziness)

after a few months i had a great idea for a coozie so i decided to go buy a new plug and give it another try. glad i did. im proud to say it hasn't burnt out a plug since. im thinking the two adapters of mine that burnt out were just old and couldnt take being on 24/7. lesson learned. replace plugs with new plugs.

my WDZ setup
IMG00669.jpg

it is insulated with 2" Armor Flex. 1.5in thick foam. its used to insulate copper pipes. i got this off an insulator at work. i also made me a coozie for a 24 oz of budweiser out of this.lol using this method my vapor hits more dense and noticeably thicker. the actual WDZ is almost too hot to hold after being in this coozie. big time upgrade in heat and still using a 12v adapter.

STEM CLEANING TIP

after a while your stem screens will be almost impossible to clean. to fix this you need to remove the screen and clips. go buy another regular pipe screen and cut it down just a little bigger than the pipe stem diameter. push the new screen down with a 1/4inch bolt or something similar. heres a few pics to give you an example

IMG00661.jpg

IMG00662.jpg

using this method makes it easy to pop the screen out and put it back. no clips needed.

FINAL THOUGHTS

im satisfied. my WDZ gives me major hits. its always ready to go and really helps you conserve herbs. this vape works with schwag but it takes a few more stems of course. as far as the oil cup. it actually works very well and my room no longer has that bachelor musky smell. now my room smells like the local head shop. if you still smoke and own a bong i suggest smoking a bowl of WDZ AVB. it puts me to sleep every time.

thanks for reading this. hope this helps.

what's with the monster coozie? is it running cold? you shouldn't need to do that indoors.

the coozie makes the WDZ hotter. i can feel the extra heat when i hit a stem. this results in thicker vapor. at least for me it does. without the coozie the hits are lighter and dont make me cough.ill try to post a vid of the thick clouds i blow.

The closer you get to combustion, the thicker clouds you will blow. Not always a good thing.

Really? I've had my PD for almost 2 years. Use it every night and the stems are still very easy to clean. Just soak in ISO and good to go.

very true lwien. do you have a spare stem? try using my method. i find with my screen, i can move alot more air through it easily. i think removing the clips creates a larger inner diameter. ill post pics of the screen installed in the stem. also im nowhere near the point of combustion. my AVB looks the same as before the coozie. lots of good stuff left. thats why i still get medicated when i smoke the avb in my bong.

That is cool to offer the Glass Tubes at a fair price. I always figured they could be made and sold cheap since it is not like plain glass one hitters are like $30 a piece. Bravo to you HighEndVapes.

How does everyone like this Vaporizer? Personally, I wasn't too impressed. It seemed a little cheap.

Yeah, I've never seen one in person, but from the looks of it in the pics here on this site, it doesn't look to be of the same quality of workmanship that is present in both the MyrtleZap and the Purple Days which all share the same genetics. But again, just going from what I've seen here.
