But ok. i read a few pages back about how its dangerous to load fully grinded material because it could clog the heater correct? Would loading the back half will full nugs and front half with grinded nugs still cause some hazard with the heater?

Or is it just not worth grinding?
The stock screen will let some ground herb through as it's not a mesh screen. So little nugs are preferred.

I personally use ground herb, but I don't use the stock screen; I put in a mesh screen at the pinch.

Woke up extra early this morning so excited thinking about my Sv3 showing up!!! :p

And awesome i actually already own multiple extra spare mesh screens so ill attempt this.

So this heating block hazard is completely eliminated when using a mesh screen?

I always have better results with grinded material in my other vapes
But i would just sure hate to have this heating block clog..

I agree, small nugs work well with no mess.
I just use the stock screen, never turn the vape upside down, and have no problems with escaping pieces of herb. My small orbiter bubbler does not have enough back pressure to blow herb up into the heater.
Six days of constant use and my block is
Pristine.
I use two cheap torches simultaneously, and my sweet spot is 180 - 185 which brings the temps to 190 - 195 as I'm hitting it

Thanks for the tips!
Then whole nugs it is!

i do love the idea of no ABV dust / mess
just hard to imagine the full nugs being fully extracted (with no crumbling/stirring involved)

But i guess thats why this vape is getting reviews like no other!
This Sv3 seriously sounds like its going to change the way i play. I'm more anxious than ever!

Im sure my initial thoughts will be unanimously amazing
But lets see how long it takes for me to post my review :freak:

Congrads!
The longer it takes for your initial review the more we who already own "understand"
finding that sweet spot........
Oh and did I mention the taste? Definitely one of my favs for taste experience alone.
As has been stated nugs is best. Never a problem. I use a Propane welder's torch and then follow up with a Bonjour butane torch just to maintain temp.

I have used both nugs and fully ground and would agree that nugs are easiest....but not necessarily "best".....I usually grind and tamp and use with about a cm tall tamped load but will also fill to the top and tamp with crappy herb.

Try both and see what you like best

I had a lot of different strains at the beginning of summer that I lightly vaped and saved.
This ABV is excellent for a wake and bake
as it does the job but doesn't put me in the psych ward.
Always got shit to do u no .

Oh yeah, this ABV is mostly ground up ,with a few Vapolution pellets still intact.

Alright so I've got the Sv3 in front of me. Respectfully at about 4:20

But.. i think i have a small problem. i dont think my package came with any screens. Looking directly into both my bowls there are no screens, and i dont see any with the rest of my stuff.

So my question is how do i use the mesh screens i already have?
Do i cut them to the size of this bowl or what?

Please help.
Sitting here looking at the vape isn't making things better. lol

There should be a bowl already attached to the vaporizer, and it has a screen in it. It looks like a bent up paperclip. My extra bowls also had these screens in them.

Wow i was totally confused. i thought those were to stuff the herbs.... Wow just wow.
Thank you so so much.

But so whats the proper way this "screen" is supposed to be loaded?
Does the long metal thin wire run through the bowl where the loaded herbs are located?
And the spiral part acts as the screen?

Yes. Put the screen in the bowl. The long metal thin wire will be sticking out a little bit. Load herb on top of that, and insert bowl into vaporizer starting from the end where the wire sticks out. When you are done, remove bowl from vape and pull out that screen, and it will empty the bowl for you as you do. Rinse and repeat as desired.

Got it now! Thanks again. About to take my 1st hit out of it :rockon:

Also any certain reason you guys are using Celsius instead of Fahrenheit ?

I use Fahrenheit.....the thermometer defaults to Celsius every time it's powered on, you have to change it. That may be why people just use Celsius a lot.....

I am more comfortable with C and if using Celsius it is also harder to accidentally over heat since you will never be heating over 200 before pulling the torch away.

Whereas if you use F then you are regularly heating up to between 350 and 420.

So if you accidentally have the vape in C thinking it is in F during a vaped moment you might mistakenly over heat and damage your Supreme

What temp starts to damage it?

Excellent point, and I think I will adopt your strategy on this!!

I don't think that's a real worry. I think you would notice if you heated the block up anywhere close to 400c!!! First of all you would be torching for several minutes instead of the normal 30 seconds that would be your first clue. not to mention the weed would combust through conduction long before then so you would see the smoke. Even though Butane burns at 1300 it would take a long while to melt aluminum. I wouldn't worry too much about accidentally heating this thing up over 400c if your just using a standard butane torch like we are.
Now if you heat yours with acetylene maybe? lol

Nope not acetylene  but close.......Blazer Big Shot

It isn't the heating to 400C that would cause problems - since even vaked you would likely notice that much additional time - unless you put torch to the heater core and let it sit by itself without actually holding the torch in hand.

But there have been a few times that even with it set in C that I've let my mind wander and pulled it away at 220C on a new fresh load after not intending to go past about 180C

I think that with it set in F for usual usage and in a vaked state of mind that if it accidentally was showing C that it would be quite easy to go over 220C BEFORE realizing what was happening and I believe that hitting temps of 260C before realizing your error is going to ruin your load and also damage the silicone.

In the end ......temperature is temperature but I still like the idea of heating in C so that it would be easier to avoid the kind of situation that I described.

But I do understand the resistance to progress and joining the rest of the world in a modern metric measurement system such as metric SI units  :D

I have gotten too stoned and hit 460f a few times with my BBB Creme Brulee torch. I hit it anyway at about 390-420 and walk the line so it doesn't take too long to cool back down to that. I love this thing!

I pulled the big propane torch out just now to play with, brought it in the living room. My girlfriend looked at me and said...No  I said what too dangerous? She said no, too damn loud I can't hear my cartoons haha. Oh well I'll stick with the BBB one. I would like to upgrade to the big Blazer though!

The problem is that to convert temperatures in degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 1.8 (or 9/5) and add 32. This means that if you are expecting F and see C that if you see the number 260 and am thinking that it is in F and don't catch your mistake until even later .....then at 260C you are already at 500F which will combust your load if you inhale before it cools down and also likely cook it through conduction even if it doesn't quite combust without the air flow.

But in the end.....no matter whether you are using C or F ......the Supreme is the hardest hitting, heaviest clouding, best tasting vapour - vaporizer that I have ever used......also the one I would miss the most if I had to go without.

P.S. Yeah the big propane torches ARE quite loud.....the Blazer Big Shot is louder too .....but not nearly as loud as a propane or MAP torch. Blazer Big Shot was very reasonably priced on Amazon....about $45 USD or $66 CAD if going through Amazon.ca
