Dynavap VapCap Shipping Discussion

Just chiming in again. I actually didn't make an account when purchasing my order, and I tried to get in contact with George about this and my order wait time in general but I never heard back either. I figured they're too busy, nothing more I could do but wait. I'm not complaining about it, I understand it's a small business. Just noting that there might be more people like me who's emails get lost but they just don't mention it. I figure it can't be a massive amount though.

Either way I just got my confirmation today, one day over two months. Can't say the wait was a pleasant one, and I hope in the somewhat near future people won't have to wait as long for their orders. Regardless of wait times, I might put in an order for replacement parts soon after I get my cap just to make sure I have back ups if anything breaks. I'd hate to wait a month or so for replacements parts.

Bottom line is that the wait was not pleasant but that's over now, and I'm over it. Now I'm looking forward to testing the unit, and hopefully it fulfills all the tall praises people constantly give it. That would be a pleasant ending to this tale. I figure it will end up on my rotation regardless, just for being my only butane vaporizer.

whats the current wait time? I ordered mine june 29 from dynavap,com and its still processing and now puffitup has them on their site ready to buy but I have no money because its processing through dynavaps site :\ I sent them a message through the dynavap website for an eta a few days ago and havnt received an answer. I know they are super busy but I wish I could just get it from puffit instead of waiting now. its just for an og and a triple torch to try it out im sure ill like it an buy a ti woody because the og looks too fragile and weird. edit: this isn't trying to be too much of a rant but I know puffit will be out of stock of every single one in less then 2 weeks and I still wont get one

I ordered some replacement parts -- a plain Vapcap tube with screen, no cap -- about 2 weeks ago. I'm hopeful something that basic will go out shortly. Fingers crossed.

The wait seems to be about 2 months. But I think it depends on what you order and what's in stock compared to what others have ordered.

So I'd assume 2 months if I were you and just hope whatever you order isn't what others are ordering so it gets to you faster.

Looks like the post office recieved my woody I ordered on the 21st of june today! There was about 7 days delay in shipping due to unknown errors either in Alaska or it's route to here in Oregon... he ships with two day priority mail so I thought it was strange it was being held up North but no big deal, after all I have already been waiting about a month, what more is a few days right? George already stated somewhere that he was working on streamlining the process and hiring new people. It's a relatively new company with a small, but very impressed and loyal fan base that keep pushing him to innovate and bring a lot of new things to the table. This is a prime example of patience being rewarded in my opinion.

Puffitup has og's, woody's, and omni's in stock. I just ordered a cocobolo, can't wait. Hoping those ebony stay in stock on the dynavap site while I try out my cocobolo one. The ebony looks amazing.

Ordered from puffitup Thursday and got it Saturday. I love the look and not having to worry about glass, very happy.

I got the green light and instructions to upgrade my Dynavap S to a double crown wood. The glass worries me too much and i don't wan't to be without if i like it, And if i don't well they seem to be popular enough to be scooped up quickly off the classifieds, But i'm pretty sure it will fit in for what i'm trying do use it for.

I too received my blackwood in 2 days from puff it up! They were excellent to deal with it. On the other hand it's now been over 2 months and still waiting on my order from George. 63 days and counting :hmm:

George IS the one and only supplier, so not only is he trying to ramp up and streamline production, while hiring more staff, training them, filling our orders and custom orders, but he is also supplying the retailers like Puff It Up with stock, so THEY can get basic orders out to us pronto.

My last order was placed the beginning of July. I expect my package to arrive sometime in Sept. I think that a couple month wait is to be expected while George goes about about putting everything in place needed to erect a new company experiencing unexpected demand.

If you are a new customer (Vapcapless) and don't want to wait for your Vapcap, PIU is the way to go and you'll have your VC in a couple days.

I am a repeat customer, one Vapcap can never be enough, so I am happy to wait.

In the end, it is all George.

I completely understand the situation at hand and I feel as though for the most part I have been pretty patient up until now. In my personal opinion it is bothersome to see people recieving shipping confirmation on various vapes (some the same as I ordered) in one month or less and here I still sit. To make matters worse I was told by George via email at the end of June my order looked to be about one week out. I also understand that some items may be in stock vs. others that may still need to be fabricated causing a longer delay. I placed 3 separate orders all with their own separate shipping fees in hopes they would come individually in that order. From the sounds of things they will all be shipped together at some point.

I understand your frustration. When I first ordered, I was getting pretty impatient near the end myself. Then my package came and all feelings turned to love. :love::luv::love:

There have been all kinds of speculation about how and in which order, orders are filled. I have no idea how they go about it. All I have is my personal experience and that prior to placing my last order at the beginning of July, I needed some clarification on few bits, so i called George. During the conversation he expressed frustration in the backlog of orders and said he was working hard to bring this gap to a close soon.

I believe that he his doing all that can be done to get ahead of the demand.

I also know how much it sucks to have to wait this long.

The good news is, is that you were able to get a VC from PIU before they sold out! :clap:

You have a VC now, so if you no longer need your 3 outstanding orders to be shipped separately, why not have them merged? You could contact George and ask for the 3 orders to be merged, saving the extra shipping fees. Then you could get the extra shipping refunded, or better yet use the savings to add an extra body or lighter to your order?

I do hope that you love the Vapcap like the rest of us! I'm gonna have a toke right now on my Omni while we wait for our Dynavap orders.....:)

@Squiby Yes I must admit this indeed is a quite amazing little device that I now question how I previously ever lived without lol Ive only had the Blackwood since Saturday and have already fallen in love. It really never leaves my side. Everyone I've shown has just been in awe! Hopefully my others get here soon as I'm certain I will love them just as much!

I'm with you man. Even got the confirmation email saying my order had been completed last week and still no package or shipping email.

i understand his situation but it makes it no less frustrating. Especially when for the past two months, the product has probably been being stocked up for puffitup, and now people who ordered two days ago already have one and at over two months we're still waiting. :uhh:
