I recieved a Buckeye Burl Hibryd and a Koa SS core. Also in the middle is a jar made from Amboyna Burl and a mini vvps on an Amboyna Burl block. Then the various roasting tubes made from Buckeye and Koa.

All of this gorgeous wood, besides the stand(@Ed's TnT) came from @Snappo and in the hands of @Alan he has turned it into pure gold. Thank you both for making this happen.

I'll just leave this here for now, in case anybody is interested in that kinda thing...

If a tree falls in the forest with no one around to hear it, does it make a sound? I may not have an answer to that but what I can say is this beautiful downed tree is going to get a second life as an even more gorgeous vape thanks to @Snappo and @underdog

Just wanted to drop in and relate my experience with Snappo, his blanks, and my new Heat Island!

First and foremost, working with Snappo was a breeze. He made the process of selecting and getting my blanks over to Alan at HI super easy. I let Snappo know what I wanted, he let me know what was in stock, I sent money, he handled the rest and got the blanks to Alan with no further involvement from me. It does not get easier than that. An added bonus is that Snappo is very familiar with the fine folks who make our logs, and their processes, so he was even able to give me some tips for what my blanks might yield, how much I would need, etc...

As to the blanks, which were all Big Leaf Maple Burl, as you can see in the photos below they were gorgeous, and yielded gorgeous results in the hands of a master of turning wood!

Thank you again Snappo for making the process painless and fun, and for your help along the way. And most importantly thanks for having some seriously great quality blanks! It makes all the difference!

So these guys...

Well posting that isn't going to make anything easier, @Snappo ! :D

Digging that buckeye too, has a "Starry Night" Van Gogh vibe that is rather mesmerizing. Will certainly be going to you for my Hi-saber.
Don't mean to push, but I figure that Buckeye won't last long. Alan will hold your supplied exotic wood blank for as long as it takes until your name comes up on the list.

I'm glad you appreciate them, @Reflections! My exotic woods stock has ballooned in the last year and I have so much more than posted on this thread. If anyone sees something they like, I can usually match or exceed their expectations... just ask!!! :-)
