I own them all. Unlike the original h-enails, all of these are actually different, and they also perform differently. Fun times for those of us that like to try a lot of different things.

I also find it interesting that Dr. Dabber and Dabado both went with a manufacture different than greenlight for the 510nail design... Pretty telling, really.

Is it? Maybe telling that Chinese factories are a dime a dozen and most companies go with the cheaper offer, they all CLAIM good QC when you go to them. I wonder how many manufacturers of the little ceramic rods and parts there really are though? Maybe one factory has better QC than another but It's hard to believe one of these chinese factories is using superior ceramic heaters to the other. I did hit a Dabado and thought it wasn't superior to the G9 one, but it wasn't worse either. It was EXACTLY the same thing actually.
You actually have them all, I only have a couple. Do you think there are different heater cores in some of them that work better or is the nail it'self different? What makes the Dabado or whatever better than the others In your opinion?

If Dabado or Dr. Dabber use a different Chinese factory I have a feeling it has to do with $$$ not the fact that 1 chinese factory is so much better than another. Now show me a US made one with a superior heater and that may be much better. But considering I have a 6 month old G9 henail with over 1000 heating cycles on it on the same atomizer. I'm sure you can get good ones and crap ones with each. Just make sure you can get warranty service in the US and you should be good. G9's is in Califonia. And I think Edabs will take theirs back for warranty too so you would be good there. As far as the other Chinese guys on DH Gate and Alibaba you might be taking a risk with those.

Yeah, i have pulled them apart too. Different wire gauges, different heat protection, different solder points, different body sizes, different ceramic heat shield molds... Biggest visual difference between the g9 and the dabado/dr dabber/KT is the split glass bubbler that can function as a water tool adapter. I also noticed that my KT registered .25 ohms, which is lower than the greenlight 510nail, and is what is allowing it to get hotter with less wattage required.

Hoosier, I have the Edabs errlmod (before they rebranded it, mine says "roby" on it). Is their KT kit a lot better with the faster heatup and detachable glass? I'm trying to decide if I want to get another Erllmod and have everything be compatible for replacement parts, or try something new (since it says the KT is not compatible)? PS: I'm using wattage instead of temp control and the flavor is much improved. In temp control, it was pushing a ton of power through during initial heatup to try and get to 600 degrees. I think that was making it taste nasty.

My dr dabber version heats up MUCH faster. Usually up to temp in one 10 second cycle then I do another one and dab halfway through. This is in TC mode, -and I also found power mode to taste better for the errlmod but I prefer this method as it is a little more mindless(set temps making low temp dabs easy)

Overall I am very happy with this new setup, I only find myself wishing for a bigger dish. If only they would release a version with a 2nd or even 3rd ceramic rod to heat up a bigger nail.... maybe one day.

A lot better? Don't know about that. The glass is a cool idea, but it's almost like I need a third hand to use it. My mod weighs too much to be suspended from the attachment, so it's pretty awkward to try and use. With the perfectly matched glass or dab station, it could be awesome. In reality though, I just got my yocan torch and that is awesome for putting into a glass piece.

I when/if I burn out my KT, I will probably just go back to my Errlmod. $22 replacement atomizers on the ErrlMOD are almost as cheap as the DT 2.5 that I went thru like crazy last summer.

Are all of the replacement atty's for the 510 nails compatible? Is the glass and screw in nail the same on all units?

Hey @Hoosier I have been using DT donuts for about 6 months and I'm only on my second donut. #2 is still going strong 6 weeks in. How long were your atty's lasting? I use mine an a VTC mini in TC mode at the custom value 245 at 16w. I usually run this at 390- 400 degrees I find myself using this setup more than my 510 nails even though I have them both with me at all times. Just wondering if maybe too high of wattage during cleaning was burning yours out.

The glass attachment diameter is close enough on all of them that those are interchangable. The ErrlMOD nail threading is different than that of the g9 or KT models (the kt appears to be the same as the dr dabber and the bolt m). The errl mod also uses a hybrid ti center post/quartz dish, where the others use an all quartz dish with a metal threading. I have had no issues with the errl quartz, where as i already broke the KT quartz in about a week.

No, always ran mine 10-12w...I loved them clean, and never felt like any of the cleaning techniques really got them back to the sweet spot, so I only used them for 4-6 weeks at a time before replacing them.

Just ordered one of the miracle ceramic coils and looking forward to trying that one out too!

Nice, I have a miracle atomizer in my cart from Ecapple too! Haven't pulled the trigger yet though. Please let me know how they are, looks like it might be the best option so far for my pen!
I clean mine DT's 16 watts in power mode while blowing through it until it gets white again. Is it's gunked up inside from overloading Then I dunk it in 99.9 iso and blow , repeat until it's clear again.
I get my DT donuts back t ceramic white once a day without much difficulty or time. But back to the subject.

OK, @Hoosier, he-who-owns-all mods :): I am liking my errlmod the best of everything I have tried. Got a source nail this week against my better judgement - all 3 buckets have already shat the bed. One thing I do really like the looks of is the Dr. Dabber recycler attachment - do you have any idea if the Dr's Boost M glass would fit on either the KT or the Errlmod base? If it does, then for less than the price of a new Boost M, you could have a cool custom mod, KT or Errl on the bottom with a recycler topper piece! :brow:

I have the expensive boost recycler and the cheaper ones too and the cheaper ones actually fit better lol. They all fit on the the KT but they were a tiny bit too small for my errlmod

The ErrlMOD has two layers of o-rings. Have you tried taking the outside layer off?

I have not, however I am going to try this now to see if that helps. I wish we could use the errlmod quartz nail on the other pieces, because the other ones work so well in TC mode.

Hello I'm a noob on the forum read through this thread still working on a few others but I'm fairly stoked on this.
I have a question for those of you that have a source nail I read it has a ceramic donut under the cup and was wondering if there is just two leads connecting that donut? One to the wall of the threads the other to the positive post? Cause if that's the case I was thinking about purchasing one, because I could easily replace the donut with a resistor coil for better surface heat and temp control regulation

Nvm I think I just confirmed herehttps://m.reddit.com/r/Waxpen/comments/33kgg8/source_orb_w9_donut_coil_rebuilt_with_kanthal/
So excited about the prospect. The major drawback I saw with other 510 atomizer is the need to buy replacement elements. With this I could easily stick a titanium stovetop under the ceramic or quartz dishes

Is anyone who is doing Temp Control on these doing so with a Joyetech type mod like VTC mini, Cuboid, etc? If so, are you using TC or TCR? What TC or TCR settings, like nickel, stainless, Ti, a custom TCR? What value? And what temp and watts? Sorry if already covered and TIA

yes. work fine with tcr -245 like dt donuts. but you can work with nickel settings, just remove nail and find temp spot before ceramic rod glowing red

@dabselector, thank you! I actually had one of my 510 attys break (dropped it, I'm an idiot) so saw that it was kind of similar to the DT donut guts, tried that TCR setting, and came to the same conclusion, thank you! I love this thing now. Oil doesn't burn with the TC dialed in, dish stays nice and clean with a mini Q-tip, mod doesn't get hot like before. Thanks!

Hey @Hoosier what was your opinion of the "Miracle by ecapple"? I need a wax pen so I'm thinking about picking one up as a companion to my Errlmod.

I like the type a lot. I think I messed my type b up by dry burning it with too much wattage, so can't really comment on that. I have been using my type a Saionara coil a lot. Pretty much all the time for the past couple of weeks.

Well, unfortunately, I just learned a very important lesson. Don't accidently jolt it with 150w while screwing around with TC mode. Just a s second of accidental power and a pop, followed by no atomizer found warning. Took off the nail and the ceramic heating element (ceramic rod) had cracked in half. No Bueno.

Odd because Hohm box mods supposedly crank up to max wattage in TC mode until 100F before target. I just ordered one and was watching some unboxing videos and the one with vapingwithtwisted420 has a good view of a card that indicates that and i quickly canceled. messaged Dabado (errlmod is sold out everywhere and bolt m is the cheapest brand name) asking if that or even the 101w slice would be ok but no response, and they answered like 3 of my previous questions. looking at the rx200.
