Yea I used one rated for like 600F for my flowerpot base and it has held up fine. For now I have tiny bits of hot glue to buy me some time to think haha.

Yea there was only a very small amount of glue holding it together. Barely enough to go around the rim. I’m thinking of using something like jb weld and use a toothpick to carefully apply it.

So I just purchased a splinter used and it arrived with the wood piece and glass piece separated so that i can see the coil. What is the proper way to re glue the glass? https://imgur.com/a/8soxbb8

hmmm I have been doing this. I have some of my roommates using it too, I'll have to watch them the next time they take a dab.

do you have any problems with reclaim buildup inside the bottom of the vrod head. You have to take it apart to see the area that I am talking about. I find that whenever i am using concentrates i will get buildup there. Managed to shatter my sic dish yesterday :(

I’m curious to hear this because I was thinking about getting the glass one to separate flower and concentrates.

I actually went to my local public library and they have a small CNC machine that is free to use. I spent like $3 on a piece of wood and designed a setup with everything I needed.

I was using the normal ones that comes with the flowerpot. i have done this less than five times. But it was never touching the top piece.

Huh... Do you use the terp balls too? I doubt it could be anything from the flower because the air is being pulled through the unit. It cleaned fairly easily with iso and a q-tip, just a lot of scrubbing.

I mainly use it for flower but occasionally I take small dabs. Never anything ridiculous and I swab it up right after. Whenever I do take dabs I make the balls spin very fast but I don't know how that much reclaim would be able to find its way into the head like that. I think it is also strange...
