I vape herb at 370F till the vapor starts getting light then I up it to 400F and finish it off there. Any higher and it starts to taste horrible IMO. I vape puck hash at 446F that I have cut up with a razor blade into thin slices.

For those that are really into cooking with and without ABV, you can get a Chinois and Pestle to filter out the butter from the ABV. This is what I use. I then strain that butter through a gold coffee filter. I find that I "lose" less butter this way instead of using cheesecloth or a T-shirt...
