    Dynavap VapCap

Sorry for cross-posting, but in the end it fits here best. My favorite method vaping traditional hash with a "basket": It's just a simple screen needed. Find one with a small diameter or cut it up (in a circle). Form a basket out out it. That is quite easy: Place the screen centered flat on the...

Buying a new vaporiser for hash

For the Vapcap I'd like to share an alternative method that seems for me to be the least gunky. It's just a simple screen needed. Find one with a small diameter or cut it up (in a circle). Form a basket out out it. That is quite easy: Place the screen centered flat on the top of your Vapcap...

Buying a new vaporiser for hash

I ordered an M and tested it extensively. I like the Vapcap so much, that I will buy an Omni in the near future for several reasons. But is it better than the Vapman? And is it better with traditional hash? That is a really tricky question and not so easily to be answered than I would have...

    Dynavap VapCap

Ok, I have to ask this. Do you guys really like the new Omnivap Design? What are your thoughts about it? Was this discussed here, I couldn't find it....

Buying a new vaporiser for hash

All valid points, for everyone who finds this thread inquiring sizzling hash - it's like herbivore21 said. I spent a little time researching it and yep. Top notch answers, @herbivore21

Buying a new vaporiser for hash

@herbivore21 Thanks again for your insights, it's very appreciated. What you wrote about the sizzling seems very logical to me. What about the trichomes? I didn't find the idea suspect that a pressed block of trichomes could sizzle or hiss for a short amount of time when a specific temperature...

Buying a new vaporiser for hash

Hey @herbivore21, that was a highly interesting post, thank you for that. I know this sizzling sound that you are talking about, which seems to appear with the darker, more pliable pieces after the first heating cycle. I know that some consider it to be a sign of higher quality, so I wonder...

Buying a new vaporiser for hash

Good point. Check out the Vapman Station if you want to heat the Vapman with electricity.

Buying a new vaporiser for hash

The Vapman handles all concentrates great. I'd say either that, or the Vapcap. Between those two it's just a matter of taste in vaporizers. Both are butane powered vapes.

    Vapman

Hey @ShinyMoonz I don't know if this will help you at all, but I remembered a great post in this thread by @vapelander who had some excellent shots of the torch. Maybe you can identify the black disk and put it in place? Check here: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapman.94/page-174#post-832346

@Mr Mellish Thanks for that very nice and personal written report. And the photos are very nice as well! Haven't met René in person, but that dedication he has for his work one can feel when spending just a little time with his creation. Peace.

I haven't used Acetone yet either. From what I've read it should be fine if you leave the middle piece until the Acetone has evaporated completely. What OF said sounds reasonable to me, it's the soft method. All what he said.

Alcohol will damage the wood, M0J0 has the right method. It's also what Vapman (René) says.
