VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

Will placing the work coil too close to the toroids cause problems? I've got a "space saving" design in mind with the smaller toroids (not sure if they've sent me the wrong size, but they're very small, supposedly 47uH 3A), but only the blue LED seems to light up, no heat...

    Building a Better DIY E-Nail

I'll have a look for cases on alibaba/aliexpress, possibly taobao when I get the chance. It's true that it's difficult to strike a balance on cost when you're making things, especially for someone who's beginning to straddle the line between hobbyist and manufacturer. One thing about those...

    Evaporation "oven"

A small update; it works! I'll post a pic of the unit when I get back from my holidays. It's certainly a bit shonky looking but it evaporates well enough and does everything I want to :D

    Building a Better DIY E-Nail

Hehe, I was a bit drunk when I wrote that, sorry that we've derailed your thread somewhat, dime. But I agree Hippie - I'd like to see my friends try to put together one of my glass heaters without the tools and knowledge I've acquired, and to keep the cost down to their own idea of "cheap"...

    Building a Better DIY E-Nail

Those stacked boxes look like a PID, connector and maybe some sort of PSU in the box - PIDs are available for ~$20, exchange rates and all withstanding. I'd expect to be able to put together a box like that for $30-40, less if mass produced. I think the most expensive part would be whatever...

    Any UK Vapers out there?

If someone PM'd you details, please do share - I'd like to know the same :D

    Evaporation "oven"

So, I've been experimenting with concentrates recently, and with the local weather, availability of solvents, and my own personal circumstances what they are I've had to go down the QWISO route rather than being able to run BHO outside or do a QWET extraction. I've been running QWISO in a well...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

iirc every battery has a peak ampage that it can handle - it should be stated by the manufacturer somewhere if it's a decent battery (you might have to hunt on the net for stats though). Then it's just ohms law, using your coil resistance and voltage to determine how much current your coil...

    DIY Bulli Vaporizer

A dremel and some diamond grinding tips would do - go slowly and use plenty of water. I wouldn't like to grid holes down the bottom where the airholes normally are on the aqua. You could get a nice vortex going on inside there if you angled the airholes like I did with the glass vapouriser in...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

You're quite right, there's a lot more to that supplier than I first thought, I'm going to have to spend a while perusing their site, coming up with ideas :D

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

I ike your thinking, but I don't think they'll serve the purpose here quite as well as what we've got. Those ceramic heaters are very similar to the heaters you'll get in soldering irons. They're good heaters, and definitely can be used for vaping - but will require a lot of wattage to heat up...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

It's my first RBA, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I'm liking it a lot though... Nice vapor production, decent build quality, and the price isn't as off putting as most custom/small run atties. The wells seem plenty deep, I'm using an innokin ss can/dispenser to hold the...

    Advanced E-cig users and oil/wax, how-to "one-hitter-quitter"

I've been playing around with ecig atomisers for a few weeks now, and one of my attempts was something a lot like your idea of a cone shaped coil - it worked well, if only for a few days. It gets clogged up real quick. Granted what I'm putting through it isn't primo so ymmv if you have a nice...

    Cheap Vacuum Purger

As I understand QWISO runs benefit from vacuum purging possibly as much as BHO, though like I said, I'm new to this... Planning on doing my first run this weekend if I get the time, and I'll break out the vac setup if I decide it's worth it.

    Cheap Vacuum Purger

Well, as with any ghetto setup you can simplify or complexify your system according to your ability to invest or improvise, but a basic setup is like what's shown in this instructable: http://www.instructables.com/id/Making-A-Fridge-Compressor-Into-A-Vacuum-Pump/ The main money spent will be...
