You need to set the TCR value, I reread your previous post and you didn't mention it. I've been using TCR=275 with the Stempod factory clapton coils. I'm using 43 watts and 430F with a Modefined Lyra box mod.

The "Coil of the Month Club" coils arrived in the mail today. They are "Clapton XL" coils; 7 wraps of 3 strands 28g wire wrapped with 36 gauge wire. They are 316L SS and fully TC compatible. The included information states that the "Coil of the Month Club" will be free for three months for...

Not a lot. Same here, it's what's holding me back on the single wire coil builds.

What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

Don't be intimidated, best as I can tell Joules Mode is a gimmick, it's just TC mode with a different name. Watts and Joules aren't equivalent units even thought the iPV D4 treats them that way. Here are the settings I found that work with my Splinter on the iPV D4, note that the settings are...

What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

Okay, good to know, thanks for bringing it up. The meager instruction sheet for the mod lists the following protections: Low Voltage Protection Low Resistance Protection High Input Voltage Warning Output Short Circuit Protection Reverse Battery Protection Temperature Overheat Protection The...

What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

Bwahahaha  Here's an odd one, a Pioneer4You iPV D4 box mod with a YiHi board. I found it in a clearance section and couldn't resist. Its TC mode is called "Joules Mode" even though you enter your pre-heat number in watts. Your pre-heat number is on top and you have to dig through the...

What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

Here's what I'm using for the two non-DNA mods. What are you using for Coil Material in your EScribe profiles for the Splinter and StemPod? RBT Splinter Lyra - TCR=260; 31 watts; 355F Charon Mini - TCR=260; 33 watts; 360F StemPod - notch coils Lyra - TCR=285; 38 watts; 395F Charon Mini -...

What box mod are you using / recommending for on-demand convection 510 vapes?

Testing is ongoing. :) I just started using the Paranormal, I've been using the Smoant Charon Mini and the Modefined Lyra head to head for about two weeks and they're very nice mods that feel good in hand, both with excellent TC implementations. So the Paranormal is up against some heavy...

Yeah, I like the fit the o-ring provides too and I prefer it. I have no direct experience with either board but I did research and consider buying the Vaporesso Polar, VooPoo Drag, and VooPoo Too. There appears to be some firmware problems with the Polar, this reviewer, who regularly tests TC...

Yes, my paranormal was delivered quickly. No problem with the vendor, Aspen Valley Vapes.

I highly recommend the Coil Master Coiling Kit V4, I paid $11 for mine. The kit only includes what's needed for forming the coils, no other tools come with it. I'm also using the following tools: small diagonal cutter flush/side cutter ceramic tweezers chain nose pliers Nice video, what box...

    Discontinued The Splinter by RBT

Yes, I agree, the Splinter does run cool, especially compared to the DVTG2. For me, the Splinter hits much better than the DVTG2.
