As was already stated, finite lifetime is an inherent part of a rechargeable electronic device with a non user replaceable battery. The fact that the battery will die at some point is as obvious as the fact that your new car needs gas and isn't stated anywhere in the manual. Either return your...

Shorty bowls on any stem have never made sense to me. Couldn't diminshed capacity be achieved with more screens and/or less herb in a large bowl? It always struck me as similar to liquid measuring cups in the kitchen. Sure I COULD buy 1,2,4,6 cup measures, but I only own one. A single gigantic 8...

Read it on some thread concerning determining joint size without a metric ruler. Fair enough. I was always very cautious using stock stems direct to gong prior to making my own.

It seems the solo uses two different currents(?) one for charging and one for operation. Mine is currently out of reach, but they are clearly labeled on the bottom of my unit. I feel like its 8v and 16v though that is just a guess. At some point people were talking about using a psone game...

Damn! That's when you clean?? I feel like a slob now... I usually wait until the oil starts dripping into the abv or downstem (regular vs. gong stems) to make coco

It won't cripple your battery letting it reach functioning zero once, and your method mentioned earlier was pretty scientific. I would just run it like you did and toe the edge of fuctioning zero until you find it. But I do understand your concern with battery life as you already received a bunk...

Just to try and clear it up completely, rechargeable batteries will stop working before they truely reach 0% charge to prevent damage to the cells. This point where most rechargeable batteries will stop providing power before being fully drained, I will call functioning zero. The point when the...

Good to know! I'll give it a shot. Loose stems are of great concern to me.

Just a side note. When the solo is frozen (left in the car at work in Alaska) it will not power on. You will get a beep, blue light with no numbers a then nothing. Once warmed up it will indicate battery and work normally again with a lengthy heat up time ;)

A lot of people crank it all the way to 7, so I imagine increased heat would make it harder to hold. I for one am not big on coughing so I don't really go balls to the wall holding it in. Also you question seems subjective, because the amount of time one can hold their breath is based on how...

Nice! I have some DIY turbo stems, and after seeing your results I think I'll try and fenagle a screen past the standard bowl depth. Props

i always hold mine daintily in the boiling liquid with rubber coated tongs as to not let it be jostled. I find that after a milk bath, while the oils are gone, there is a fine film left over. I always ISO after boiling to make them crystal clear again. This. Maybe a lil fat in the coco mix, but...
