Agreed. Something about fumed gold or silver and chemical reactions in PBW makes me way way more hesitant (health). At the same time, there are varying amounts of silver in various glass colors depending on which. still, its a mixture of different things. not solely silver or gold fumes... this...

I actually cleaned a supper wig-wagged out dish last night. Everything went well. I agree that it should be alright for worked glass, but I'm still hesitant to try it on a piece that has some value.

would you guys say its safe to use PBW on worked glass? I'm not talking labels. I'm talking heavily worked/heady pieces, with a bare minimum amount of clear glass. Most of my collection is heady...not a risk I'm willing to take without hearing from others first!

probably the best place to ask this vs making an entire new thread. my question is, does anyone know about titanium reacting with ethanol? i use ethanol to clean my rigs, and save the juice for eddies. i want to clean a bunch of ti stuff i have around, but obviously wont use it if it reacts.

yes, i was asking about heating everclear as a way to loosen the claim easier than using it at room temp. i wont be heating it up at all. i'll prob just heat up the outside of the glass by running it under warm water, or maybe leaving my piece in my car on a hot day for an hour or so and then...

for those who reclaim with ec/ethanol, do you heat up your ec at all? or does the claim come off fairly easily sans heating the ec? a few posts ive come across on the internet have mentioned using "warm" or "hot" ec, but never stating how to go about it. i can understand that since a warm liquid...

sounds like your EVO runs similarly to mine. i would try FIAV's (;)) advice to me here: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapexhale-cloud-evo.11357/page-154#post-585395 helped a lot. especially since i was initially getting gold/yellow ABV at max. now i get some pretty light to dark brown ABV...

are orange glows bad? my unit was stuck on a green/orange glow on max and at 0 just now.
