Hopper has been in RMA since August 15, 2018. Sent them a heated message and they responded by saying that they are now servicing August 2018... I'll believe it when I see it...
Are there any competitors to the Grasshopper in terms of nearly instant heat up time? From my research I've found the Firefly... I'm wondering if I've missed one or if that's it.
This is an interesting concept. So is the idea that the Nano would lose power momentarily while you use it.. but the element *should* stay hot enough for those few seconds? Or are you imagining a battery in the unit?

I was just browsing grasshoppervape.com and noticed this banner on the homepage:
This is the first time I've seen a "stubby" mouthpiece... perhaps an early beta unit?
I went to swap my Grasshopper's battery (GHB2) and found that the battery was stuck inside. Once removed, I noticed the battery and inside of the Grasshopper were covered in what I can only assume is battery acid.
The battery had been fully charged and placed in the Grasshopper a week prior...
Purchased an XTAR MC2 charger (and 2 new batteries) for home use. Seems to be a worthwhile investment. Now I can keep the oem charger in my car.
Even with the initial production issues that this vaporizer had, this is by far the best portable due to heat up time, form factor and lifetime...
Had the same problem. Opened a ticket on Sept 4th, replacement shipped Sept 7th, received my replacement on the 15th. I am on the East Coast. The closer you live to CO the quicker the turn around time will be.
