Barely getting any vapor with the hercules. Can anyone help?

Got it to work, but I have to say, not as much vapor as I was expecting from using the Hercules for dry herb. Maybe I don't have the touch yet. Instructions say not to hold the button for more than 10 seconds, is that set in stone?

Found this on another site, maybe I got a bad cartridge? " I was getting the 3 flash warning and thought it was both the batteries or charger. This includes both the 300mah and 1000mah batteries. DubC swapped out the charger but received the same results. I knew it couldn't be all 4 of my tops...

Charged the batteries fully and it won't give any heat. Blue light blinks as if battery is not charged. I must be doing something wrong.

Just got my set. I know I'm going to sound like a total noob, but I would rather not mess anything up. The Herb goes directly in the Hercules cartridge correct? Hold it upright/ press button for only a couple seconds, /steady draw?
