I would agree, I wasn't able to use the Hula stem with standard black or grey O-rings. Luckily, I had some red O-rings with same diameter, but slightly ticker, and they work fine, tip stays on. Hula stem has a ticker glass, but Glass Charlie's is more elegant and feels more natural as a mouthpiece.
