I purchased a FF in late Jan. 2014, plus a spare battery and charger a few weeks later. I was having trouble with my first FF combusting so I purchased a 2nd FF knowing my first was going to go back under warranty and I didn't want to be without. I ended up buying a 3rd FF in Aug. I believe, to...
No, it is not common but it does happen. I own 2 FFs (1 silver & 1 gray) and both quit heating after a few months of use. Both were replaced under warranty. I was not happy camper when either one quit.
Rebreathing is what I was referring to in my previous post (1st page post #616021)! I should have mentioned the term; rebreathing is important to maintain the correct CO² level in the blood, which in turn is the main factor in controlling the proper pH level of the blood.
When you inhale and then hold your breath you are increasing intra-thoracic pressure for the amount of time your breath is held.
Consider this. The anatomical deadspace works both ways, on inhalation and on exhalation. I think we can all agree that at the end of inhalation the air trapped in...
1) Diffusion within the anatomical deadspace is minimal at best; stagnant air, under pressure for short period of time.
2) The hemoglobin within the blood picks up O² pretty quickly, but since it is moving quickly also, it does not "fill up" at one alveoli and move on, it picks it up O²...
Great article fogbank.
I have to agree with fogbank on this issue. In a nutshell, there are two things happening in the lung at the time where the gas exchange takes place: Alveoli inflate with fresh air (and other organic compounds) at the beginning of the inhalation; as blood flows by in the...
Like I mentioned, the FF was our first vape; we have quit combusting entirely since the first day the FF arrived and we don't want to go back. The portable style fits our needs well, we don't want a plug-in model sitting around the house.
First time poster here, but a frequent lurker since the FireFly came out.
I've been a toker for many years, but got interested in vaping about a year ago. I purchased a FF (my first vape) at the end of January and have loved it ever since. The FF fits my wife's and my needs perfectly. I've...
