Well theres the problem.. It didnt slide all the way out when I first got it, but would have about a half inch of play. I figured that was OK granted troi's post about it.. but as time went on it got worse and eventualy could slide further and further up.

They must have changed it since yours, but mine does not have the flared part at the bottom. It is a straight, square end.
