Did you check the stats of your battery with vapormeister before you did the battery replacement, particularly the maximum charge capacity? Before replacing mine it had 1658mah and then once I replaced it it still says 1658mah and this is where I think my issue is, it doesn't seem to recognise...

Thanks JCat. That sounds similar to what I'm experiencing, one minute it'll be fully charged and then it will be dead and I know the cell is fine, its also the exact same one as the original that came in my crafty. I'll remove it again and try your suggestions.

Has anyone had success with replacing the battery in one of the craftys that came with 20% extra battery. I've tried doing mine but the crafty seems to think it's still the old battery and is still only giving me about 1 session.

The discharge time of 170hrs is what matches the usage on the official storz app so I'm not actually sure how the operation time is calculated to reach that figure but 170hrs seems more accurate.

From what I've read in his thread I believe his batteries are for the original crafty, where as this is one that came with 20% extra battery before the crafty+. I'm also in the UK and need to keep the costs down.

So my Crafty only holds enough charge for one session, so I want to replace the battery, I'm guessing that buying the exact same battery would be best? I've opened my Crafty to get the battery model (see image below), I'm pretty sure this one is the same battery, do you think that's right?

Thanks, that's certainly solved the wobbly knob. I've not had a chance to try it to see if it's solved the combustion though.

I've had my dbv for 3 years and i've just combusted with it, the thing is I never go above 12 o clock but it has been developing a wobbly knob. Could this be the problem?

Full capsule and then lightly tamped down. I'm pretty sure the whistle is actually coming from the air intake at he bottom of the vape but i cant see anyway to get to it other than taking the vape apart.

So I've just tried this and there's no leak, it's fully sealed. I tried taking a draw whilst it's cold and there's no whistle. I've also changed the oring from around the oven but the whistle is still there when it's heated up.

I have my first Crafty inbound, I have a couple of questions for when it arrives. 1. Do I need to do a burn off? 2. Do I need to clean the CU and oven with iso? 3. Do I need to fully charge the battery first or should I drain it, then do a full charge?

So i'm currently having a bad case of VAS and the Mighty is really tempting me. Am i right in thinking that the Mighty can be used whilst charging? With that being the case, say after a few years the batteries are completely dead would I still be able to use it plugged in?
