also i remember on hex nails old site they promised a feature that would actually remind you to take dabs at user selected intervals. never happened, it's pretty novelty and could realistically get annoying but it couldn't be too hard to add and it would be especially awesome if you could record...

lol i think the engraving is badass. the sic is not quartz, you are not losing heat transfer to the engraving, heat spreads evenly throughout the sic and even moreso the obsidian with the amount of contact to hot ti. it looks to be really shallow too, so i wouldn't worry about it..and i don't...
