@guyonthecouch as you may have gathered it sounds like something is wrong with your buds evo. have you tested it for air leaks? odd that it works fine on concentrates. my theory is you have an air leak in the bamboo but the high temps for concentrates compensates for the air leak. new or used...

@Krzydmnd interesting. i bought a used evo and it whistles, so i don't know what you mean by "conditioned." i'll probably try the cotton plug. i'm wondering if you still have a few cotton fibers up in the bamboo and that's enough to stop the whistle?
