gold all in my chains...dont believe me just watch
I have just received the aroma top attachment for DBV. Its great, I melt beeswax with essential oils like patchouli and bergamot. My only concern is that the housing for the Vaporiser itself seems to get much hotter with the aroma top on it. Normally I can leave it on all day and it gets luke warm at the most but with the aroma top on it gets to the point that I'd call it hot. Not hot enough to burn but uncomfortable to hold your hand on it for more than 10 seconds or so. This is even when left on lowest setting on dial before it switches off. Does anyone else find this and is it something I should be concerned about? I worry that long term it may damage internal wiring or something to that effect.
cant you turn the heat down on the dial? either way, you are using it according to their instructions. so even if it gets hot and something goes wrong, tell them it was faulty cuz you were just doing what the instructions told you to.

I have the dial as low as it can go with the Aroma Top on. I've been using the aroma top almost daily, sometimes leaving it on all day for since I posted that almost 2 months ago and the Da Buddha seems fine. I'm not too concerned now for similar reasons as you mentioned. I have registered it for warranty so if it craps itself I'll just get another. I reckon it'll be ok though, I was probably just been a bit paranoid because it was so new ;-)

P.S

I find when vaping with the aroma top on that given the extra heat buildup I need to have the dial lower and draw a little faster than without.

Hi can anyone advise me how long 7th floor usually take to respond to emails? I emailed them a few days ago still no reply. I brought my Buddha at the end of 2013 so it's still under the 3 year warranty period. Has anyone dealt with getting a broken vaporizer replaced/repaired with them and if so what was the process like? I'm hoping a resolution can be had, I've had to resort to combustion again and my poor my lungs are hating it! :ugh:

What happened to this place by the way? Used to be so much more active! :(

Hey guys...I alerted 7th Floor to your posts and they asked me to tell you this:

" We apologize you cannot reach customer service, please call 719-570-9928 or email customercare@7thfloorvapes.com and we will get you all fixed up! "

They are having problems posting here for some reason. I hope that helps!

Thanx Bro I've never had any issue with service from 7thfloor I just wanted more info than was available on their site. Their item descriptions are brief and I've had people tell me they didn't order certain accessories because they wanted more info as well.

Just ordered the ddave mod, hopefully its worth it. Have been thinking about it for awhile, only thing stopping me was the postage to australia was more than the product itself. Ah well thought i would treat myself

Hopefully shipping wasn't too much more than the mod itself... but it's worth it just for the micro mod IMO. I have never had such dense hits without a water pipe. It has really streamlined my sessions.

Yeesh, it's been 6 months since I've had cannabis at all. I vaped for the first time in six months last night with the Da Buddha, thought I needed to relearn it because it seemed like it wasn't doing anything. After upping the temp a few times and trying the different inhaling techniques I used to use... it crept up on me so hard.

Got extremely medicated with 0.10g, and almost all of it was still green by the end of my session (took about 5 pulls, each time increasing the temperature and checking the herb's color). Going to try 0.05 tonight and see how that goes. I plan on keeping my tolerance low this time around, rather than vaping all day, everyday, hours apart from each session. Just once per night. I hope I can have the same level of high from last night or even close to it. It was great.

Thanks dude that was cool of you I emailed them again (might of had the wrong email addy the first time) and heard back from them within 24 hours however been several days and had no reply to my follow up email :\. Turns out my unit probably has a faulty dimmer switch been doing a bit of research and seems these can be found in hardware stores etc is that correct? I'm thinking of buying one myself and giving it a go at fixing it myself or getting one of my more electrically savvy friends to give it a go. Doesn't look too difficult if their video is anything to go by.

I know 7th floor does repairs for $25 but they have increased shipping to my country (New Zealand) to $60 (used to be $20) which is an incredible amount to pay for shipping and that's not including shipping costs from my end also! I wouldn't have have a problem if shipping was still $20 but $60 is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. I guess I could try a tv repair shop etc but I don't think I'll feel too comfortable with that considering we live in the dark ages here and herb is still frowned upon just imagine the looks I'd get taking a vaporizer into a repair shop!

First world problems I guess dam I miss my vapor, combustion sucks ass!

Can anyone get in contact with 7th Floor Vapes? I've tried several times since last year, and I did receive two replies back, with the last one being a confirmation that they'd make a Da Buddha spherical heater cover for me. I've tried contacting them several times since then, and never receive a reply back (I use their e-mail or contact form on the website).

It's been nearly a year since I've been trying to get a spherical heater cover for the Da Buddha, and their FAQs mention that they will do so upon request. I have spherical glass pieces that I've never been able to use because they haven't gotten in touch. I bought them after the confirmation that they'd make the heater cover.

Thanks if anyone might be able to contact them on my behalf!

Had the same problem try customercare@7thfloorvapes.com they seem to respond a lot better if contacting them via that email as opposed to contact details on their site. Or trying ringing them I recommend try dealing with Philip hes a good guy hope that helps. :)

On a side note god I love having my Buddha back I've missed it! :smug:

This is my most recent VAS purchase.

So, this things quite the little beast huh?

One of the main draws of this vape for me is the amount of control the user plays in the end result. Reminds of the MFLB in that regards.

Despite reading all sorts of forum posts ( thanks for those). Despite watching a multitude of reviews and how to's, I still managed to combust my first two bowls. Epic beginning! Third bowl was the charm. I had figured through the first two attempts that I have a very long, slow draw speed. Having initially started at around 1:30, I am now closer to 11:30. That adjustment made all the difference. This vape is so good for it's price. Love it. Great taste, great vapor production. Really impressed with this unit.

Only downside.................it was bought from an online reseller I have used before, and as far as I know are legit. I immediately noticed that there was no warranty/serial/QC(?) card in the bag. As well, the wand has a small chip in the lip where the tubing is fed. I have contacted the reseller and don't expect there will be an issue with such a recent purchase, still a bit of a bummer though. New toy and all.

Now onto testing out the D020-D with some parts re-purposed from the EQ. Should be fun :)

7TH FLOOR is kind of the benchmark in how to run a VAPORISER COMPANY!

The MEDICATION (HIGH) is very intense.

Cheap as hell and EFFECTIVE!

CAREFUL what you ask for?

The service for my SSV was spot on!
LSV & DA BUDDHA no service needed so far?

Does anyone know where I might be able to get replacement tubing for my dbv locally? From what I have read it needs to be 1/2" silicone, but I haven't had much luck finding that at lowes/homedepot. Would pvc tubing work as long as it is food grade?

I did a little research in the past and felt safe enough to buy some decent quality pvc tubing since the hose itself doesn't get very hot. I could never find one to my liking that was less expensive than the stuff from 7th floor. I'd make sure it's rated for anything above typical vaping temps, just to be safe.

Bear in mind that stiff or less translucent tubing is going to be less user friendly.

I've noticed little pieces of white in my DBV bowl, and some parts of the heater seem to glow when it's turned on. Could the heater be breaking off?

Not likely... the heater is able to stay on for years without shutting with no degrading.
Turn unit completely off and allow it to get completely cool.... remove the heater cover and shine a flashlight on the element. If there were degradation or cracks they would be visible.
some parts of the heater seem to glow
Some areas?
OR
some small spots on the glowing rod that seem to glow more brightly than others?
I did a test of the structural integrity of the 7th Floor LLC (Da Buddha) Heater Element.

Small spots appear to glow more brightly, and there are visible marks on the rod.
