I just transferred funds for this beauty:

Fluidmotionglassworks Deep Six Recycler #1

Truly innovative.
The main downstem is split into six seperate downstems that are incorporated into the wall of the water chamber.

:hmm::o:nod::D:brow:

Love the downstem design, but did you notice that barely any water got drawn through the uptake? It's all drawn up the return in a drinking straw like fashion. Could be because of the low water levels, but during the first hit without nail it shoots right up the mouthpiece and even with the nail water started to climb up...
Not trying to shit on anything or anybody, hope it works well and it was just the water level.

@Herr_Dampf, no worries.

The water level in that video is far too low.
It was shot by the headshop, the artist wasn't too happy when he saw how low it was for the function video.
However, I do like the very end of the video where a drop of water gets into the uptube and is drawn in a spiral up the mouthpiece; that air has to be vortexing.

I've been in contact back and forth for about a month now with Dan of Fluidmotionglassworks before deciding to move forward with this piece.
He's a great guy and I feel totally comfortable with this purchase.
It's been awhile since I've seen something that's really made do a double-take.

Here are a couple of better links:

That recycler is beyond impressive and deserves more likes! I love the downstems that are integrated into the chamber wall, simply stunning. How has it been performing?

I just picked up my first recycler. It's a collab between @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd and @coojoglass at JoDa Glassworks:

Here's a function video:

I'm going to work on a function video of my own, and I'm going to be taking a bunch of pictures once I get a UV light.

I haven't been able to play around with it as much as I want, but so far I absolutely love it. It's a great size for my vapes, produces great flavor, and the function is on point.

Thank you very much.
Performance wise, it rocks!
With the Deep-Six downstems there's basically no perc, so it's flavor city.
The six downstems don't have much cross-sectional volume, and as such should create a low-pressure area to help speed along and condense the vapor.
In theory anyway.
I do know it's currently at the front of the rotation.
And the competition isn't soft:

was thinking about getting the haze recycler to use with vape
DSC_6622SM.jpg

I like it, and the Hazifier (I named it and won the bubbler version!) but I wouldn't buy it. Only because you will be stuck having to use small tubing instead of a standard 14mm or 18mm connector. And in a few year when you upgrade from the Haze you will still want to use all of your glass collection. Don't let me talk you out of it if you really want it but that much money could be spent on a much more versatile piece that won't require you to adapt through tubing for other vapes. At least the Hazifier uses an 18mm connection instead of the proprietary Haze tube.
Please what happens when the "Straw" breaks off? I already broke the 18mm glass adapter I bought for my Haze and I am on #2, What do you do when the little thin straw breaks off of this one? Just my thoughts from a fellow Hazer and Glass guy.

Brilliant, I figured I was being impulsive, its nice to have some sound reason to listen to. My mine reason was to use the haze with the dab occasionally and I just don't like the way it sits to much with my current water pipe, but you made some great points for me to ponder over.

Great. I was mostly sure i shouldn't get a recycler for the air, just confirming.
It's not that a recycler won't work, it's just that that's not a proper recycler. That piece looks like it has too much diffusion for the Air too.

There's a nice Distilled Glass recycler in the classifieds now that would probably work really well with the Air. And it functions well in the video posted.

It's been 4 years since this thread started. I hear lot of you guys use the term "performance" when it comes to these recyclers. How does a recycler "perform"?

What have we learned? Do they really "cool down" the vapor a lot more than traditional percs? In the beginning of the thread, there were lot of discussions about how recylcers are "water recyclers" 'and not "vapor recyclers". I mean water runs through the same path the vapor has to go through. What does this actually achieve? You also sacrifice the perc at the bottom and keep it very simple to keep the drag as low as possible and putting all the money in the "recycling"? Those who love recyclers here, why do you love them?

Personally, I don't think Recyclers are a very good pair with dry herb vapes. For me, Recyclers are best used when dabbing. They do tame the vapor and because of the amount of water used, there is usually very little vapor to Glass contact. The pretty water show is a very nice bonus. It also takes some skill and labor to create a Recycler that functions properly.

Not good for dry herb but good for dabbing. That makes sense. I guess you could even have the recycler "going" before you dab. It's hard to browse this part of the forum without coming across your reputation regarding glass. If it takes a lot of skill to get a recycler done right, what are some of your favorite ones since you probably have tried every thing out there.

I'm a huge fan of Gordo Scientific. His attention to detail is top notch and I am always more than pleased with his work. Some of my other favorite artists that create Recyclers are Liquid Glass Arts, Tubesock Glass Hustle, Toph Glass, Brandon P. Glass, Anodyne Glass, and Eyesmoke Glassware. I just picked up a new one from an artist I never heard of, Jon Flips Glass.

I feel like i kinda want a recycler for my dry herb vape. Even though it won't benefit from the recycling function, it'd still be a piece that'll look pretty on the desk, and its not gonna be worse than a non-recycling piece. If you had to recommend a recycler for the arizer solo/air, what would you recommend? I'm looking to spend anywhere between 30 and 100 on dhgate. What kind of a recycler design would work best with the arizer vapes? I'm guessing I should ideally go with something that has a lot of volume.
