Their lyrics were not thought provoking but they were fun and exemplified sex, drugs and rock & roll . Bad Motor Scooter, Rock Candy, pure rock & roll goodness.
Here's their cover of Roy Brown's Good Rockin' Tonight.

Brilliant! Probably my favourite Rory Gallagher song... I saw him once in the National Stadium, Dublin... must have been about 1978. Not baked now but I will be later... Irish Tour 74 rules OK :peace:

Im so jealous, i was just too young during the seventies to go to live shows.

As Hendrix once famously said when asked what it was like to be the worlds greatest guitarist "ask Rory"

Love this thread (as I said) but Jeez, you can't really do a quick catch up on it, can you? Gotta play all the tracks.... and they you remind me of others that you have to follow up on... then back to the posts and Lwien posted a full fu%*ing Jean-Luc Ponty album (which is brilliant)...and I haven't done my tax returns yet and they won't get done tonight...-

EDIT and a Herbie Hancock one!!!
EDIT #2 And MOTG with a full album too....

@poonman I'm sorry, lol. But that album just sort of needs to be played in it's entirety. As does this one. It barely squeaks into the category of 60's and 70's but is a masterpiece imo.

I promise this will be the last whole album I post. Get a vape and put your feet up. This is going to take a while.
