This looks pretty damn interesting

I confess though, that I've never clearly understood what makes this style of vape a vaporizer, rather than just a smoking pipe.

Is the 'flame path' somehow isolated from the herb/air path?
Does the 'flame path' exhaust somewhere other than the users lungs?

Please forgive this question, it's not meant to question the function or safety of the vape.
I seek only to relieve my ignorance of the manner of function.

Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me

It is far away enough that you are using the flame to heat the air as you inhale, vs inhaling the actual flame, no exhaust with a proper torch as I understand it, taste is excellent in Daisy and should be here too... The flame is such a strong power source that it's implementation here offers a very a full bodied signature to the vapor even for low temp hits (which are possible with draw, carb, and flame position techniques)

Hey fellow FCers,

I was given permission to release pics and some thoughts.
I'm a beta for the this new one, so this is a beta unit. When retail sales start, you will possibly be getting something different. There are a couple of things being looked at, but more on that later.

First impressions were very good! I'm impressed!
It came wrapped in bubble wrap and completely assembled. It came with a set of instructions and included some tips for cleaning and warranty info.
Nice construction. Unit as a whole feels natural not forced.
The hole in the middle is very cool!
The wood body is beautiful and solid.
Glass is thick and solid.
Magnets are stronger than my Daisy's magnets. This thing rocks!
Performance is on point - It hits hard, potent and robust just like the Daisy.
More testing to be done, but honestly, it's already knocked it out of the park for me.
With a Vape like this, you know instantly if will perform and that it does.
I'm using the exact same technique as I use for the Daisy and getting incredible results.
*I realized not everyone has a Daisy so I can briefly explain.

I start by using a medium grind. For reference, I'm using a Santa Cruz shredder. I load the chamber full. I use a one-inch flame with the tip hovering over the intake hole and a medium draw while looking into the glass mouthpeice for vapor amount and density. I stop drawing when I feel I have acheived a desired hit according to vapor I have seen through the glass mouthpeice. It Works exactly like the Daisy. I didn't have to change any of my technique

Glass Parts for the Daisy/Sticky Brick Labs Vape are interchangeable.

I really hope the stuff for this will fit the daisy. I'd love to have a source of replacement parts and hopefully use some of the stuff developed for this on it.

Looks good though, definitely going to follow the thread. If I didn't have a daisy I would want this something fierce.... and might get one sometime anyway. If I could make a wishlist suggestion? Integrate a stirring tool in there somehow maybe? Maybe a magnet in that new drilled out center area where one of those metal stirring (ear cleaning) tools can stick to?

Seriously though, happy to see the design alive again.

Sweet man , even better to see it in a fc members hands. It looks great & also fun to use with all the different configurations one can come up with. The glass also looks really thick and that's a huge plus.

Hey, color me interested. I knew someone would do this eventually. I know the concept may be damn close to the Trii products, and some will argue against it due to ethical or loyalty concerns from "copying", but if you got a need and you can fill that need more power to you. We saw it here with Aerozap to PurpleDays to HI and even EpicVape. The evolution of another persons idea to fill a need.

Whoever is manufacturering these (unknown still?). Feel free to shoot me a PM if you want to bounce some ideas around.

Does anyone know if the hydro brick will come separate? Or the wpa adapter at least? I guess the adapter could fit on the big block too. Anyways I'd love to be able to buy that solo for people with a daisy or that buy their first vape. I hope they sell it as a whole unit and just the block/wpa alone. Wait... do they have a name yet?

I'd love to see a crazy modular system start going for this. All sorts of connecting pieces and modules like those littlebits toys (I have the synth). Lego'ing together different configurations of some crazy ass glass/wood/magnet vape. A bubbler block in the middle or something to make the vapor more visible and led lit (love that on my apollo). I don't know, those sound bad, but that take it apart and put it back together design always seemed like an opportunity for creativity to me.

As it stands now, nothing has been decided yet. I think once retail starts/gets closer, which is the estimate provided in the first post, I'm sure all information will be clarified.
