Vaporizing Tobacco (not e-cigs)

I just wanna add that my idea of trying to extract from tobacco using solvents is probably stupidity in the highest order and I would not recommend it. I can only imagine the amounts of nicotine and other toxic substances could be concentrated in this process!

How about concentrating terpenes? ...but I guess that would be for another thread...

I actually make my own Naturally Extracted Tobacco Eliquid
Not nearly as good and flavorful as vaping fine pipe tobaccos ...in my own opinion of course. The Arizer Solo is excellent for vaping pipe tobaccos.

What pipe tobacco are you using, and are you getting it in the US? The good pipe tobaccos I've tried have been treated so they won't vape properly, as many are in the US.

Is there a specific brand you use? It isn't some flavored type, is it? I been looking for a non-aromatic like Dunhill or Balkan or something similar to vape.

It always has to be RYO Tobacco That's untreated. Or leafonly.com has some good natural tobaccos.
My best results is using cigars or whole leafs and soaking them in everclear the flavor is amazing.

My personal cellar list is very long - Only the best top grade. I do not inhale - I only snork and retro-hale like I do with a cigar or regular pipe. Try H&H Anniversary Kake (sweet, nutty, spicy), Peterson's Irish Flake (sweet, spicy, with a good nicotine punch), Shortcut to Mushrooms (mellow, sweet, nutty, etc.). I much prefer fine all natural pipe tobaccos (although they can be topped with a subtle dose of natural flavors) over any of my cuban cigars or RYO varieties, as I find them to be MUCH more flavorful and available in much greater selection. Explore all the options, then you decide what you like.

I was using some uk brand pipe tobacco and it tasted alright but after a while I got a real nasty headache that could be caused by that building up in the lungs. Possibly it is released slowly coz I stopped using the device and it took several days to go away completely. not sure could have been the device but probably the backy. yellow american spirit seemed to taste quite good but probably the non inhaling is the way to go even so i think i got some mouth ulcers possiblly from the heat but possibly the backy or both. in anycase i moved towards the ecig as a better option although that broke and my bank blocked my account and I haven't been able to deal with anything really so been smoking. oh dear oh dear. going to get one replacement sorted for the time being coz it was atleast an inpprovement health wise

What about squishing some rosin style? I need to quit the cigs and I hate the ejuices.

The concern is the concentration of carcinogens that any dabs you can squish out of your tobacco might allow you to ingest in one hit man. Same as with solvents, I do not recommend trying to concentrate tobacco essential oils. I can't vouch for what you will end up with being safe to consume. I actually think you'd be better off vaping tobacco like some of these guys than concentrating it. Even so, not 100% on that either. There just isn't much information available on the safety of these practices.

All the best with quitting the cigs though bro, I did the same not all that long ago.

Don't bother with baccy juices and such... just use top shelf pipe tobacco in a vape and you'll get the best flavor and bang for the buck you can imagine. I use the Solo, packed tight, and the most flavorful pipe tobaccos - best tobacco flavors you never thought possible, and no char flavors! Anyway, don't take my word for it... try it for yourself and explore until you get it right.

I just wanted to throw some input in. Drew Estate makes some awesome aromatic pipe tobaccos, the Cult series. Their cigars aren't good but their pipe tobacco is. I also really enjoy Orlik Golden Slice.

Tobacco even organic, no chemical tobacco causes cancer, I would think vaping the tobacco leaf would also, it contains polonium-210. The tobacco plant absorbs radiation in the air like a sponge, and most fertilizers used on crops have a ton also...

Two packets of cigarettes gives the same radiation dose as a chest x-ray, imagine the average smoker goes through 5-10 packs a week. It gets ugly fast.

Cancer often develops where these polonium hot spots of damage occur, I doubt burning it vs vaping it has any different effect but I am not a doctor.

Even if the cancer rates were the same for vaping tobacco vs smoking, vaping would have lower risk of developing other smoking related diseases than smoking.

True, I'm just wondering how many diseases are from the smoke itself, I gotta say I never heard to many bad reports on pot smokers health wise even though its obviously better to vape it.

Another thing to take into consideration is the curing of (most smokeable) tobacco products. Most if not all are fire cured.

I recall back in the Swedish snus days the discussions of steam curing vs. fire curing, nitrosimides(sp) etc...

Fire Bad.

When I vape PIPE tobacco (only) I never inhale, and it tastes wonderful, no char (much sweeter and spicier, more flavor). My sessions aren't long (but they could be if i wanted), but they are very flavorful. This practice doesn't worry me in the least regarding harmful health effects. Maybe they should (but i doubt it), but fuck it, I'm doing it anyway.

Everything is ok in moderation....mostly.

To be fair I use an E cigarette and the words still out on that.

Suave
Vaping tobacco always gives me a stomach ache. I still with fresh green herbs. From time to time I grind a little mint or even coffee with my herbs.

The consensus is vaporizing tobacco to get your nicotine dose is not a good idea.....?

I feel ashamed to tell you i'm still combusting, never tobacco alone, always a blend mj/tobacco, 3/4 small spliffs/day. I want to quit but I'm a bit afraid/disgusted by e-liquids, that's why i was thinking to use a dedicaced vape to vape a mix mj/tobacco to get my nicotine...

Anyway all this headaches, stomach pains and nicotine overdose feedbacks let me afraid too...

That's why I get a Quicdraw500 on the way to give e-liquids a try and I will try to vaporize some tobacco too....not for pleasure but if it helps to avoid to roll again!

Never take even one puff of e-liquids...but yes the sweet odor I smell when somebody is vaping e-juice near of me doesn't please to me...

Is there a sort of ej-mix with nicotine, I will prefer to vape some goodies as well....maybe a concentrate flavoured e-juice will taste nice....but i heard this sort of mix is not really potent...

What about to put one or 2 drops of e-liquid on flowers....

To be honnest all this options (combusting, vaping tobacco leaves and e-juices) are not my cup of tea and i would prefer to be able to stop, like that..and enjoy my flowers in my vapes!

I would be happy to know what everybody is thinking about..
