So far I will have to say I do really like the Guru. I've had mine for almost 2 weeks and have used it everyday. When I get a vape, I take the whole process into my "judging" of a vape. For example, no matter how good a vape is: if it takes forever to get it, high shipping, the return process stinks, etc; then why get it? From what I gotten from start to finish, the Guru seems worth the process as I use the Guru everyday like I do the VaporCup (which is my favorite portable).

The Bad: 1)not easy switching out bases, 2)broke a sensor on each base so far, 3)not easy putting the mouthpiece on with the newest rings (I got sent 2 different rings to try), 4)sometimes I have to hold the "heat up" button 2 times to get the dry herb chamber to heat on the latest heating chamber you sent (it will start heating, then quit but that might be due to have broke a sensor pin, it's only happen 3 times), 5)some herb did get through both mouthpieces, 6)get 4-5 dry herb chambers per full charge

The Good: 1)great taste (in the top 3 for taste for portables in herbs, the best for concentrates), 2)great ceramic heater for concentrates (no waste or mess), 3)digging the mouthpiece, 4)don't always need to grind herbs (packed nugs in and worked great), 5)the 14mm glass adapter fits perfect, 6)water tool works awesome, 7)the packaging was different than others, 8)so far the bases work even though I have broke a sensor pin on each, 9)pass through charging, 10) can use at low temps (I like 340F), 11)I start getting clouds at 250F when it's heating

When I say herb got through the mouthpiece, it was very little and nothing to get upset over. Almost every vape at some point herb gets through. Also, I put a few nugs in it and patted them down and it worked just as good as grinding them. I like the way it feels in my hand when vaping, very nice and sturdy but sleek feeling. I like that you can put other tanks and atomizers on it and use it as a box mod. I haven't use the e-juice atomizer yet but will when I'm done with my tincture I made with the Magical Butter. I dig the Guru alot and glad I bought it. For the price, the quick shipping, the quality of the vape, the features and how good it actually works; the Guru is a quality vape worth buying. It has become one of my everyday vapes. I also carry a messenger bag so it fits easy in it. It's big for "pocket" carry comfortably like a cell phone with a case but then again it is a "box mod" too and I don't know many folks with box mods who put them in their pockets (not saying people don't, just the ones I know don't). I get decent clouds at 340F and got big clouds at 375F. At around 250F I can see the mouthpiece start filling with vapor. Also, I think the 3 hr battery is if you just use it as a box mod (which is adjustable V) but I

I got a bunch of pics of it on my IG and the reddit discussion

have used my pictures as well. If anyone has any questions, I will try to answer them the best I can.

My only question is how come you never post pictures here? You seem to have quite a few very new vapes that no one else does in a few threads, with great useage reports, but never any photos, just reference to an Instagram without links even. Not chiding, genuinely curious, and interested in seeing photos along with the reviews directly in the respective threads here. Thanks bud

Too lazy to go through the process of posting pics on here when everything I take is posted on my IG.
My IG link is in my signature. I am not a "reviewer" but have been and currently now testing things. I give my thoughts (some liked, some not so much) in threads. You want photos and my thoughts again, they are posted on my IG.

@smutman : you say you have over 100+ portable vapes but you are not a reviewer? Either money is free for you or you got one of the most severe case of VAS on this entire forum! It's bordering madness past some point... :mental:

Why would you need to repost your pix here, doesn't IG allow to hotlink the URLs? Just copy paste the direct links and put them in a image tag over here, should be a few clicks at most.

If you are too lazy to post your pix here, I'm too lazy to browse to an external site!

I do have over 100+ vapes but since you are too lazy to browse to an external site you will never ever know :). I am very smart with my money and no I am not a a "reviewer" (got to many other projects going on to be a reviewer plus laziness) and maybe it's VAS, maybe it's out of boredom (maybe a little of both). But mainly it's out of I'm too lazy to post my pics here, that's all. If you do not want to go to my IG to see them, then so be it and that's your right as it is mine not to want to repost pics everywhere when they are posted in one neat little place.

I just received my Guru today and it's charging up as we speak! First impressions are very good overall... sturdy construction, good weight to it and it appears to be made with quality in mind. The Guru has some size to it so I would think this is a more around the house / friends house unit like the Solo rather than sneak-a-hit or pocket sized portable like the Pax2 or Grasshopper.

The modular design is pretty innovative I think, using the base battery to power the different heads / attachments kind of like a box mod. Hopefully this will turn out to be a true multipurpose vaporizer rather than a dry herb that is so-so with concentrates or a concentrate vape that combusts herb.

I will update soon! http://imgur.com/a/HX93n

. I definitely loved the taste through the concentrates atomizer and the taste for the herb is very nice as well.

All right! Sorry for the delay but time got away from me the last few days!
My first impressions hold true, The Guru is a well made, sturdy unit! The button configuration is minimalist with a multipurpose power / heat up button and up / down buttons for the temperature settings. The display is big and easy to read. The bowl is interesting as the ceramic continues past the chamber around the edges, I am assuming this will make it easier to wipe clean. The bowl itself is deep and I’d say you can get a solid .3 in there if not a little more. The mouthpiece is really neat, all glass and it’s designed like a dome (I’ll post a video later in the week) and my guess is it is acting like a cooling chamber as I found the vapor to be very smooth! The chamber is under the mouthpiece and the glass mouthpiece fits snugly into place with a well fit o-ring.

The function of The Guru is great once you get the hang of it. Turn it on by pressing the power button three times, adjust the temperature to where you want it and then hold the power button five seconds to get the unit to heat up… which it does relatively quickly!
On to the vapor! I used a medium grind lightly packed and started at 375 for four or five draws. Draw resistance was nice, looser than the Air not as whispy as the Flowermate so a good, strong draw. Flavour is very good, on par or even a hair better than the Solo / Air. Very impressed! I also got the water tool but I haven’t used it yet as I found the vapor from the unit itself to already be very smooth! I’ll put it through it paces this weekend though!

The only real con I see so far is that the size of the unit may get some people down, this is not a stealthy pocket vape, but if you are licenced or in a legal state that may not be an issue. I’m a big guy with big hands and I can even be a bit clumsy sometimes so I like a sturdy unit with some weight to it. It will be interesting to see how the modular design holds up over time but all joints look nice and tight so far.

I haven’t officially kept track but I think I’m getting about six bowls per charge (used it for one full charge so far, keeping track on this charge!). Not sure how that will translate to the concentrate / e-juice set up.

So far I have only used the dry herb application as I’m a dry flower guy mostly and don’t usually keep concentrates on hand. I’ll be picking some up on Monday so I’ll have more to report back on! Also, I’ve never used e-juice but the atomizer tanks looks the same as ones you can put viscus oil in so I will give that a shot too! I will also be trying out a prefilled cart to see how that works!
I am really digging the modular design though, if the concentrate / e-juice modes work as well as a native box mod this will be something special. I should have more up by Wednesday! Thanks!!

There simply is nothing else like this on the market. The fact you can use it for concentrates, waxes, herbs AND e-liquids is a win in my book. It's maybe not the smallest but I like the fact you can feel it on you. Yes it's a bit pricey but you will want to look after it like it's your most prized possession. It's worth the money.
Thumbs up from me....✌️

Guru 3 in 1 Vaporiser review

A little back story - my main daily driver at home was my SSV with a percolator bong attached but I kept finding that I needed a more portable vaporiser that performed like a desktop for when I wasn’t in my study or had gone up to bed.

Already having the crafty as my main portable I quickly purchased the Mighty and it has now become my daily driver, I added the easy flow water tool adapter from Vapefiend and it is really an incredible experience with my percolator water pipe.

My current devices:

  1. SSV - Silver Surfer - usually connected to my grace glass percolator water pipe.
  2. DaVinci Ascent.
  3. S&B Mighty.
  4. S&B Crafty.
  5. ELeaf 50W with innokin dual coil atomiser.
  6. Dabstorm.
  7. Dr Dabber Aura.

Despite having a great collection of devices I was keen to try the Guru as I was intrigued to see if it was possible to have a device that could handle all three methods I have become accustomed to after quitting smoking whilst still using one battery. Prior to this as you can see above I had devices for dabbing, dry herb vaporising and e-liquid tank and battery.

Upon receiving the Guru I was immediately impressed with the packaging. Despite the rather unique looking character they have on the box it didn’t take long to see the thought and attention to detail that had gone into the making of this product.

Guru and water tool packaging

  1. Opening the box - First impressions
  1. Simple and clear instructions that were easy to read in a hurry and understand how to use the device in its three modes.
  2. I can clearly see and feel the guru is a solid unit even if it is larger than I expected.
11h5v6h.jpg

Nice simple instructions:

In the box - As well as the main herb chamber you get the 510 mod that allows you use the supplied, ceramic dab pen and e-liquid atomiser.

You also get a stainless dab tool with silicone end cover, a cleaning brush, funnel for filling the herb
chamber (I don’t find this necessary but a nice touch if you are at home), cheese grater style branded grinder and water tool adapter (this impressed me the most as all other devices I have had to buy this separately. I also received a 14 mm water with this deal which completed this package and meant I had everything I needed for all three forms of vaping in one package.

2w1z4n4.jpg

2. Dry herb

a. Heating -

The first thing I noticed was how quickly the device heated up to 355F, I have since checked using the
timer on my phone and from cold to 355F it gets there in 40 seconds which is impressive.

b. Direct draw vapour quality -

The vapour is very smooth using the direct draw mouth piece and tastes great, if not on par with the
Mighty it is very close. There is also so much of it, a reasonably well packed chamber produces a
serious amount of vapour. I find when using a larger water tool that the one provided you can have the temp between 345-355F and get good results, it seems the convection element allows for lower temps when drawing hard through a larger water tool.

c. Water tool adapter -

Vaping using a water tool has become my method of choice and I wasn’t disappointed using the Guru
with my water tools. The amount of vapour produced really creams up my percolator and being so
smooth allows for some really big hits. One thing I did find was that occasionally the holes in the
the adapter get blocked a lot like the ascent, this seems to happen more with the water tool than with
with the normal mouth piece but that is probably due to the force used pulling through the water tool.
Not really an issue from my perspective but thought it was worth mentioning.

d. Mouth piece -

I really like the design of the mouth piece and I think this really contributes to the smooth vapour.
Occasionally when cold I find it hard to seat the mouth piece and find the washers are better when
warm.

Like a previous poster I have also experienced a little bit of the material pass through the mouth piece
but this has generally been when pulling to hard, if you draw slowly as recommended I haven’t
experienced this issue.

3. Dab atomiser - The dab atomiser works very well and the ceramic disk instead of a doughnut is a really good idea and keeps the concentrate in the right place. The flavour is great and rivals the dedicated devices I have. My only gripe is the rubber mouth piece which I am not a fan of but that is because I have become accustomed to the glass and ceramic mouth pieces of my other devices. But at this price point I am very happy with it.

4. E cigarette atomiser - again this works well and performs in a similar way to my inokkin. It was a good call to use glass and stainless as I hate those plastic carts, just feels wrong. A great addition to this 3 in 1 combo.

I will update this thread after I have used the unit for a few more weeks, due to busy working schedule I haven't managed to run the battery down yet but plan to have some fun trying to this weekend.

To summarise this is a great multi function device for the price point and the dry herb performance is really impressive and rivals some of the high end vapes. I would still say for flavour the mighty is better but it is considerably more expensive, but the amount of vapor produced using my water pipes really surprised me.

If you are looking for a vape to cover nearly all bases at a reasonable price then I recommend this one.

What did you think of the concentrate atomizer? I love the taste of some good crumble through it. I've paired this with my Apollo for a 1-2 punch in the face of taste with herbs and concentrates.

@Shroom1986 that's a great review of the Guru and glad that you and @kushbury are enjoying this vape. It is in my everyday rotation and glad I took a chance on it. Shoot, that funnel alone is worth it's weight in gold lol.

Do you recommend it if you don't need a 3 in 1? For just flower?

I do because it is a great taste and quick heating vape. Since I got this, the Prima and FW3 have basically gone into my vape graveyard with the Mighty and Crafty fixing to join that graveyard as well.

Wow! Is more like a pax 2 or Crafty/mighty?

This vape doesn't seem to be getting a ton of buzz yet...

It's better than those to me andI actually forgot about my Pax 2 til you mentioned now. I will probably use my Pax/Mighty/Crafty again but it will be out of sure boredom. Those are good vapes but I find myself using the Guru everyday in some fashion. I feel like I get better draws and taste through the Guru than the P/M/C.

As for the buzz, yea not much out there but if people want to sleep on this, so be it lol. That's their loss.

It is a tasty treat when using the concentrate atomizer. That's the downside with this atomizer, you will need more concentrates! Have fun with it and appreciate the shout out. Keep up the great videos and reviews my friend.

I know taste is subjective but could you elaborate please?

Could you compare it to the MiniVap or something else taste?

I haven't used the mini vap but I put the Guru a little ahead of other conduction & glass combos like the Air and Solo. Never anything alien in the taste... no plasticsy aftertaste, just the flavors of the marijuana.... and that's using it without the water pipe!

Nice! never tried any Arizer vapes but I read they are famous for taste, so if the Guru is a bit tastier it's a good new!

edit: better than the Crafty or Mighty!! It's a big statment and I bet some people will want explanations....not me cause I never tried the Crafty/Mighty.....
