Talked to one of the guys on the phone. Nice guy. Well informed. I asked about the heating element and if the herb comes into contact with it. He said that there is an air gap between the heating element and ceramic chamber. The herb never directly touches the element. Now I'm sure that the ceramic will heat up and there will be a bit of conduction. But I'm comfortable with the balance as described. I'm ordering one. At half the price of the FF2 it's worth the gamble. Of course, the quality of materials in the FF2 are obviously higher, but I think that Chinese factories can do a great job if they're given the right parameters. I play bass for a living and the difference between the US made and the Chinese/Indonesian instruments is getting less and less.

I'm a 60 year old that only imbibes at the end of a day. One decent session. Watching these guys cracked me up. I'd be unable to get off the floor before half of the video was done. I thought that the cloud production was large and relatively consistent throughout the sessions.

I also asked about small loads, like .1 or less---he was confident that it works well with small amounts.

I'm excited to try out the amount I normally put in my mighty (just enough to cover the bottom screen) in the CFX and compare how hard they hit.

The introduction you all gave was great Eric! Couldn't ask for more, answered all the questions threw at you.

Even if I was up till gone 3 in the morning watching your live stream, it was worth it to be introduced to your company.

Looking forward to the CFX and keeping an eye out for your future products.

For what it's worth, the FF2 is made in China.

"NOT CONVECTION AT ALL DO NOT BUY.
Within the first 3 seconds of turning it on I stuck my finger in the bowl and burned the absolute shit out of it. If it was convection and not conduction it would take MUCH MUCH MUCH longer for the bowl to get hot enough to burn your finger.
Flavor isn't good at 385 either, even for conduction. Extremely disappointed and will more than likely be requesting a refund if not through them then with PayPal.
Blows my mind that they would setup a live stream and directly lie to us about the product they're pushing.
It's a flowermate in a new shell and nothing more."

I still wonder if the FCers will say the same but this seems like these guys cared more about marketing. It really just looks like a crappy rip off the mighty/crafty. Who knows if its even safe to use. I'm staying away from this one for sure.

This guy says its not convection at all , i disagree with that. The company even stated it is convection and has a bit of conduction. I assume he burnt his finger bc hot air is flowing through the point where he stuck is finger , that hot air def has to leave some heat retention in that chamber causing a bit of conduction. As for being a flowermate in a new shell , i hope not , i was never into the flowermates but the company even stated this is exclusive to them. I guess well see when a few more people get them in there hands.

The reviewer should leave the cap off with it turned on to see how much vapor gets produced without inhaling.

Edit: he made a video

Well after viewing his video, it's clearly a conduction vape with a bit of convection. I'm out on this one and glad I did not jump on this after the live stream like I almost did

So where is that vapor coming from if there is no material in there ? , I am gonna give it a good test. I don't mind personally if it is conduction , if it hits well , tastes good and gets the job done correctly than that is what matters to me most.
