Where are the Game of Throne fans?

We're here to fuck shit up.
If you want to bring up fairness then I don't think it's fair to keep readers who were reading these books well before a show was ever created to be left on the hook for as long it has been. It's a petty issue, but myself and a few others I know aren't happy that the show is moving past the books.

It's my opinion. If I am not allowed to have it then please let me know.

No one is trying to deprive you of your opinion. You can opine that he's lazy, and I can opine that it's not fair to assume that's the reason.

It's unfortunate that this situation has arisen but I'm not sure what else could happen. They decided to start the TV series knowing that this would occur, because there are supposed to be seven books and he was already blocked on book six. They could have postponed the TV series until the series was complete but in my opinion, he'll never finish the books.

Just bring the fucking winter already; turn the story over to stephen king if you don't know how to finish it. Seriously, everybody dies at the hands of the white walker winter monsters how hard is that. Then maybe the dragons could kill the monsters, and the remaining humans could kill the dragons, again.

edit: Perhaps this could have been a symbiotic relationship, as king clearly needed some help finishing his own mega-series, also known as the dark tower debacle. Oh well maybe in a different reality.

I think he's burnt out. His life has been GoT for roughly the last 20+ years, would also not surprise me if he never finished them....as disappointing as that would be.

He also basically wrote Books 4/5 twice.

I stopped watching last season, but I have been watching this season, and read up on what happened through the end of S5. Read all the books. Will catch up on it. Stannis was shocking to me, just cause it's been the first time I've been surprised by anything in the show  think that's why I'm enjoying this season because it is "new"

I think I'm gonna get the Tale of Dunk & Egg for some summer reading, they are supposed to be pretty good I hear

Hey GoT folks. Not a huge fan of the show myself (though I LOVE the books). But here's some funk. Was at a con this weekend and freaked out George RR Martin with my Commander WorfPool (Klingon Deadpool cosplay). He was visibly wigged when I ran into him in the hallway. Mission accomplished.

When the story broke about Ian McShane "spoiling" things by mentioning that his part helped bring back a forgotten character, I was really hoping it would the The Hound. I love that guy, and I was sooo happy that my hopes were fulfilled.

Not that GoT needed yet another story line, but at least this is one I like.
