Yeah, this is really weird. They're planning to release within a few months, but they made a promotional announcement without any pictures? The only way I can think to describe this is 'really weird.' I mean, I really like my SSV, and that interests me enough to keep tabs on a portable made by the same company, but the way they are announcing said portable is setting off a 'REGARD WITH CAUTION' alarm in my head.

I might have already ordered if there were some pics haha. This thing could be a monster for all we know.

Edit: Just noticed this little tidbit too: "Pre-orders are scheduled to ship this 2015 holiday season, however delays due to unforseen circumstances are a possibility."

And also

"Buyers must understand that this is a pre-order product that may not ship at scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances, and agrees to not initiate charge back if product is not received by specified preliminary date. *"

Heh. Maybe I'm just jaded but that is code for "pre-orders might ship before Christmas but probably not."

FINALLY more companies are starting to really stand behind their products! That's confidence!

Yeah, but....."Buyers must understand that this is a pre-order product that may not ship at scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances, and agrees to not initiate charge back if product is not received by specified preliminary date. *"

So yeah, they'll refund your money in 30 days if you're not happy with the product but the REAL question is................WHEN does that 30 day trial program begin, that is, when are you going to get the product? As open ended as they left that statement above, this could be another GH fiasco.

And yeah..........totally weird that they would promote a product with a set price point urging people to buy it without any pics whatsoever. What in hell is THAT all about? A bit of "delusions of grandeur" going on here, me thinks.

My assumption would be 30 days after you actually RECEIVE the unit, even if it's 3 years later

Definitely a red flag in my book, especially since one is asked to not initiate a chargeback. I doubt that this disclaimer holds any water with a credit card company as there is a time limit as to when a cardholder can initiate a chargeback or dispute a charge to their account. Other than that strange tactic, looking forward to seeing what 7th floor does with this as their first portable.

Agree with the concerns expressed by @lwien. and @slowandsteady. the statement about chargebacks, i've never seen that before.

I'm conflicted. Mostly because this is a reputable manufacturer. I have faith in their ability to deliver a stellar portable, but I think this is a rushed effort for the holiday season. I think i'm going to hold off on this one until 2016, but it certainly looks promising.

Yeah that was kinda my point. ;)

The issue that I have is a company, ANY company, that thinks so highly of themselves that they actually believe that people will pay for something that they have never seen and not only that, but that they will accept the fact that they can't initiate a chargeback on that product that they have never seen, no matter how long it takes for them to deliver the product.

But, I guess that there are those that will do this anyway. Boggles my mind......

I'd have no problem pre ordering from 7th floor, other than I'm short on funds right now. They have some kick ass desk top vapes and I'm sure this portable is going kick ass just like all of their other vapes!

I've had their DBV and the LSV is my current daily driver (along with the MV) so I've been a 7th Floor fan for many a year, but when they decided to put their name on a Chinese made knock-off pen vape and then follow that up with the Super SSV with flashing lights and a make-shift bag attachment, my faith in the company has been shaken up a bit, and now.....................this marketing fiasco.

Hey Steve..........ya gotta quit throwing darts to see what will stick and get back to what made you guys successful from the get go.

Yeah, I don't see it on their site anymore so maybe they dropped it. I remember when they first introduced it a few years ago and I talked to Steve (the owner of 7th Floor) about it and I told him that I thought it was a big mistake and that it could negatively affect their reputation.

My SSV is my main driver so 7th Floor has my attention but to release this info without images weirdly pisses me off. Oh well, the things we must put up with as the planet's premier vapologists. No pics, no can buy.

They are sayin' it is IN STOCK :o
They have to put it in stock to allow pre orders or at least that's how all of the e comerence sites I've had have worked.

I'd have thought a company as large and reputable as 7th floor would have gone about this a lot better. For that price, and confirming the details on the 30 days money back, if they had some pictures that appealed to me, I'd have ordered today.
Surely there is a picture to be had? If available by Christmas, and if so surely youd want to show it?
I know a company as large as 7th floor is going to roll out something much quicker than some of our boutique vendors, but noway I'm believing it's ready Xmas, but there is nothing available to show us what it looks like right now in mid October? Comeeee on!
Known what the GH has looked like for ages!

This is the first product from 7th Floor that has intrigued me since the LSV. The original LSV glass was changed shortly after release and felt a little rushed to the market but that's 7th Floor's style IMO. That said, if they can make a really well thought out portable, that uses their standard heating element, with an easy delivery method, quick heat up, with ample battery life we could have a real winner here.

Like everyone else said. Where the pictures?

I have been teedering on the edge of LSV for a while but think I can get just as good cloud with the hammer... This portable could be veryyyy interesting. Battery life being the biggest concern for me. Especially if it's going to have dbv/ssv lsv style horse power? But guess we won't know much till they tell us. Pretty sure there is an in house 7th floor employee here?

FUCK CANCER TOO !
Sounds to me like, and you can call me a cynic if you want, these so-called, "pre-order" deals reflect a strong likelihood that some of these companies are experiencing cash flow problems along with having issues sourcing capital from their usual lenders. Hence, a kind of, "customer-based crowd funding" to help them sustain the upcoming holiday production/order fulfillment.

Sure, I'd like to order a dozen of them right now!
