I've noticed that I don't need to stir the oven to have it evenly colored, but I DO get some sick hits off of it immediately after stirring, even though it appears to be cooking it all evenly. Not sure what the science behind it is.

I also only had About half an oven full of herb so I mixed in some AVB to make the oven packed full and it worked perfectly.

This, I always experience the same thing. I don't have to stir it but if I do the first hit is massive.

Are you putting a screen on top of your load ? I find my pax 2 is my only vape that i actually have to stir with after a session. I pack it super tight and have even tried packing not so tight. There is always some green left and i stir it up and get a few more puffs on petal 3 and 4 . I wish i didn't have to stir , really loving this vape though.

No, I don't use a screen on top of the load. It's loose in there, which is why I like to hold it upside down when it's on. I've mentioned here before that keeping it inverted (even when hitting it) is a way to increase vapour density.

Hmm I'll have to give it a try , indoors that is, It may look a little weird if i got spotted outside with it inverted. Thanks Pakalolo .

Yeah I used to do that before the screen trick and stopped for the reason you mentioned. Lol. I didn't want to look weird either haha.

thanks for all the great responses guys. Still on the fence, I really want another portable that nearly fully extracts all the goods without having to stop and repack it, that kind of defeats some of the point for me. Mighty is great but expensive and optimal cleaning is kind of a hassle.

It does a good job at extracting, but sometimes I can stir it and pack it once and it gives me a good hit and then it's completely done.

Got the flat mouth piece, it is awesome. Much, much better than the other one. This one doesn't get hit AT ALL and is way easier to clean. I ended up destroying the raised piece just trying to clean it.

Unfortunately the dent from the fall has caused the piece to not fit 100%correctly, more like 98% and that other two percent is off just enough to let some air through. I don't think it is having much of an effect, I am decent at working with metal I think I can get the tiny dent out and solve the issue pretty easily.

Damage like that is probably not covered under the warranty, right? I doubt I would even take advantage if that if it was, just curious.

On the cleaning issue for the Mighty/Crafty, you can buy extra cu's and just swap them out. Then you can clean the other cu's whenever...

Try 4 if using the avb it's nice and not as hot to ME as others report

I grind up erb in my Santa Cruz shredder to use with my dbv. When I can't get any more out of it I dump it in my hand and gently crush it up with my fingers and throw it into my Pax2 for another mini session. Afuckingmazing! I love the Pax2!

I have a SCS too and when I grind for the Mighty bowl I grind normally, medium fluffy, and when I grind to put it in the Pax2 I flip it upside down and grind it really fine as fine as the MFLB finishing grinder.

You can use a little bit, enough to cover the oven, a tiny pinch, and pack it down tight with a steel screen. Start it at level three and you'll get like 4-5 solid hits. They will be strong and you'll be baked. From then on use as much as you think will get you medicated.

I think .5 is the oven max but I could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure you won't get a whole g in there.

We don't know you or your friend or more importantly your tolerance! It all depends. Load it how you will of its not enough load it again. Repeat steps until your medicated as much as you want to be

It's less about weight and more about density and volume of the buds. But I agree the pax would be pressed to pack that much under normal conditions

Fill it up halfway and see if that gets you where you want to be. If not then next bowl pack more, there's a lot of external factors that make it hard to give you an exact amount to use.

When your weed is dank, it's bound to smell lol. I do admit it is the smelliest vaporizer I have though. While you're out walking around no one seems to be able to notice who has it lol.

Heated herb smells. That's science, there is no way around it unless you get a draw on demand vaporizer and even that will smell to a degree.
If your looking into 100% stealth, try concentrates or edibles.

True I was outside and put it on the third temperature since I was with friends. If I keep it on the first, it'll be the most discreet correct?

It's always going to produce a smell, to minimize you may want to try the caps for both ends of it and leave one on the oven while using it. @Ratchett here makes them and sells on his site.

Yea, the first setting will smell the least, but today I used the pax on level 3 in a grocery store and no one said anything.

I would suggest getting some smell proof caps from @Ratchett they work perfect. Plus they are ultra stealth and all little bulk to the pax2, so if you wanted storage to be even less detectable, it can easily be placed in a bag or pouch.

Personally I think using it with the cap over the oven makes the draw resistance far too much to enjoy.
