Quickdraw 500

Was curious if anyone has tried this? It's little brother the 300 was one of a few pens who could actually vaporize flower without combusting. But they were a little finicky.

I am looking to possibly upgrade my 300 to a 500 if it is able to vaporize at least as well as the 300. Could really use a little bit bigger chamber.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not just a rebranded v2 pro series 7? Since the 300 is just a series 3...

Not sure, the series 7 didn't seem to get good reviews. I was hoping there could be slight changes that might make it better? I am hoping, I was considering this while waiting for my grasshopper to ship....

Just looked up the pic, yeah its for sure a series 7. Theyre just straight rebrands, nothing different. Why not just go with series 3/300 for a placeholder? There's also Imag, Flowermate, Xmax, Sweetcigs, Vaporsource...

I own both. I have the V2 Pro Series 3 and 7 and the QuickDraw 300 and 500 series. The difference is Quickdraw and V2 is Quickdraw comes with all 3 cartridges in their packages. Also, the QuickDraw has a longer battery life on the 300 and 500 over both V2. Also, Quickdraw doesn't make you wait weeks and months to ship their product. V2 has shitty customer service.

You can mix and match the cartridges between both vapes and I think the QuickDraw is better price wise (not 100% sure).

So, you can swap the cartridges between the V2 and the comparable quickdraw?

How do you compare the V2 Pro Series 3 to the 7? Do you feel one performs better than teh other in terms of potency and quality/heat of vapor? I have the 3, but it is so small, that if i ever want to share, have to pack like 2 chambers for me adn 2 for them....if the 7 is just as good as the 3, might want to get that to reduce packing. How is the battery life different between the two of them?

Thanks for your input!

Yes, you can swap the cartridges between the V2 and Quickdraw. I officially do not use my V2 3or7 any more. The Quickdraw 300 and 500 are soooo much better. The battery life of the Quickdraw (both 300 and 500) lasts about 30-45 mins longer than the V2 (3 and 7). The 300 and 500 aren't really "sharing" vapes to me. I have a few pre-packed cartridges of dry herb and one of bho to get me through the day. Now the bowls are larger going from the 300 to the 500 (almost doubles in size).

I just won a QuickDraw 500 and should be getting it soon. I use a volcano mostly for my dry herb so I'm hoping to use the QuickDraw for concentrates mostly. How do you guys like the wax cart ? What is the heating element made of and how long do you think the carts last? I obviously hate smoke so any info on this unit combusting and or tips on how not to combust with it would be helpful too, thanks!

No combustion what so ever and I've used pot, wax, shatter, Bho and numerous eliquids in all 3 cartridges on the 300 and 500 series. No worries on combustion. The wax cartridge is super dope and it is just a heating coil.

Thanks for your info! That's great to hear, so about the wax cart heating coil, is it just like a pancake coil or does it have a wick? If it has a wick is it silica? Ceramic? And how long do they last in your experience?

Sorry for all of the questions but this thread isn't very long and not much info out there on this vape. Thanks again!

As all the questions you want, that's how you get answers lol. It's a pancake coil. I've had mine for almost a month. I use it everyday almost all day. I do clean it out every other day.

Awesome news! I don't like wicks. What is your process for cleaning the wax cart? Q tip with ISO? Or dry burn?

I take my dab tool, scape out any wax and then put that on my Enail.

Sounds simple enough, thanks for the tip. One more question, what is the best type of wax for a pancake coil? You said you've put all kinds on and it worked? I've read that shatter really doesn't work for these, something about gunking up, was thinking about using full melt bubble?

I've used shatter (both), Bho (only on the 500 series), crumble (only on the 300 series) and regular wax (both). They all to seem to burn just fine. All of them gunk up a little so I scrape it off at the end of the day and dab hit on the enail. Just don't try to stuff it full and do a little cleaning after each bowl. It keeps it decently clean, not a lot of gunk and for me turns into a dab hit.

I have been using the Quick Draw 500 DLX for 3 days now.
The herb cart works well, and has given me numerous tasty sessions.
The unit however, when using the dry herb cart does not switch to the next level... it stays on the first line, even when I depress the button twice.
With the liquid cart the level can increase to 2 lines, or to 3 lines.

Hi, @Vitolo ,You need to switch heating level before to start heating.

I bought one from the Classifieds one year ago and I found it was a decent option if you like to switch with different uses (herbs, e-liquid and wax), it was not my case but since the lack of heating settings and the basic taste I gave it to a friend who are trying to quit cigs using e-liquid and mj.... IDK if it's successfull although...

Yes it works but there is now a lot more better options for the price of a brand new unit. That's not a unit I would recommand, except for cheap and if you like e-liquid (not my case).

Just noticed this vape is in the e-cig based portable vapes section.

Even if it offers an e-liquid cartridge it is closer to a classic portable vape than the Imag (i.e) which is an e-cig style vape...

I think it might be better to create a concentrates dedicaced portable vapes section cause the "e-cig style" is moving very fast ( as well a butane powered vapes section and an e-nail section, please FC moves with our time, sorry I know it's off-topic).
