I suspect that you can keep getting high when the vapour is done. However I am not sure if this is just the creeping high getting stronger.

The simple answer is, when you are done with it.

In reality everyone has different needs from their herb. Typically most people cache the load when vapor production ceases. When you start blowing no vapor, that's when you know the load is probably done.

Some vaporizers let you keep cranking up the temperature until combustion. Your herb will continue to vaporize until it reaches that flashpoint of combustion.

The question is, do you want those temperatures? For several months I was medicating up in the high temperatures, and I found I really didn't enjoy the effects at those temps. So I dialed things down and now I cache my load when I'm finished at around 400F.

Is there still good stuff left in the herb? Sure. Do I want to vape it? Nah not really. I simply save the leftover ABV to use in edibles to give out to my friends

When times and supplies are good "done" is 4-6 hits and then into the ABV container. When the supply gets tight and ugly the ABV container gets run a few more times. At the worst case the re,re,vaped ABV gets run till it looks like charcoal and tastes like..nothing you want to try and describe.

For me, a load is done when the taste takes a turn for the worse. That's generally the point when there is also a downturn in vapor production
