Not sure if waiting for the vap3 is better than buying the vap2 now. I'll give it a month to summer in the brAin. Have a feeling I'll be ordering a vap2 by November...

Jeez oh man that new stem looks huge! I barely use half of the medium sized ones!

It sounds like the development of the VAP3 is going really well especially the time spent on accessory pieces as well as digital control.

One thing I would personally like to see is a wand setup where we can use grinded herbs not just small nugs.

Ok, so I' a lazy fuck and this question may have already been asked but................what is the projected cost of the VAP3?

Then you could drop a glass blunt in the vap3.0, pull it out a few moments later and BAM-semiportable gong vaping!

but then you're converting from a convection operation to conduction as soon as you remove the glass tube from the oven ... and the glass can't hold enough thermal energy to get a hit.

uh, oh, somebody's got VAS

Give in to the succubus ... nothing beats all glass. well, except for all glass with accurate temperature control.

get a V2 now!
Your a funny one @ataxian ! I suppose if that happens I would have to give you all the expensive vaporizers I have
If you have an expensive vaporizer collection and it floats you boat! Don't worry what I say! I'm joking around!

However I was ready to spend some money on some expensive vaporizer until I coughed up a lung on a little potable I use.
Then I have this VAP2 that has better flavor than an expensive unit? I sold more expensive vaporizers because they put me in a coma! I don't need to be in a coma in the middle of the day!

My need is not BLING it's medication!

The design seems rather "Extreme", no?:hmm:

It honestly almost looks like one of those automatic pet food release containers.

I was trying to think what that looked like but you just nailed it.

Industrial design is going to become a key component in vaporizers but quite frankly, the aesthetics of this sure doesn't appeal to me. We need some Apple designers to defect to the vaporizer industry.

I find it in no way attractive to tell you the truth, can't even picture it sitting out in my vaping area. My first thought seeing that picture was pretty much " you gotta be fucking kidding, that sucks !" and the more i look at the picture the stronger that thought becomes.

Prayin' it's all a bad dream.

To be fair, it's the performance that counts. I think the first 2 versions were kinda ugly too, but they did perform and that is the most important thing in my book.

exactly what I was going to say, Stu...it ain't the looks that made me like the VAP2. At least it doesn't have the name on it in big letters. I don't care what these things look like any more. The idea of an all glass air path that is digitally controlled and easy to hook up to an HT stokes me!

If it turns out to be tiny and loses that shiny gray plastic finish and actually does perform as well as the original, I'll give it serious consideration. But still quite a let down in looks for me.

I never thought either the vapolution or vapolution 2 were ugly actually they just seemed like functional lab equipment, more tool like. This one in This one Picture, not so much.

Fuck the performance. I want her to feel good in my hands. I don't want her to look like she was made by RubberMaid. I want her to look sleek, to make me desire to touch her, to slide my fingers along her smooth edges, to revel at her closely machined tolerances. I want her to ooze quality. And when I plug her in, and if she turns on............well, that's just icing on the cake. :brow:

True on the triple, but the original retailed at close to $200, so not that drastic an increase. I think they will still sell the V2 for those that are not interested in the extra bells and whistles. But who knows with a new partner involved. Maybe a discount code will be available like the V2.

Hm I was kinda waiting for the 3.0 instead of getting the 2.0, after what Vapolution posted to tease us. It looked so good on paper!

But seriously this picture...it looks like a cheap toy or kitchen equipment now, this is turning me down.

I don't think I need a larger bowl anyways, the AIWB and small pellets are surely more than enough for the gf and me. And as long as the temperature is variable, having it displayed or not is merely a gimmick.
