Hi, i'm looking for some opinions on the best portable vapes on the market following these restriction.

1. It most be portable...

2. I would want the vape that could get me the most high possible, in the less amount of time (without considering the heat up time), since my tolerance is pretty high and when i smoke and i love to get really baked.

Simple as that !

Here are the two vapes i was thinking about for now... but feel very free to bring any new suggestions.
The Hammer Vaporizer and The Arizer Solo

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english.

I am in exactly the same boat. Looking for a nice portable vape! I've got my eyes on the Firefly which apparently has some impressively fast heat-up time and flavor retention! Pax also gets a lot of recommendations, and based on this video below I think the Pax would suit your vaping habits.

@samantabha can vouch for the Arizer Solo. Nothing but good things to say about it.

Also, what is your price range?

Thanks for tagging me, Deja. That was a nice little informative piece. I've seen other videos by that guy. Maybe I should get a Firefly instead of another Solo. He seems highly impressed by the flavor.

I know, and after watching some videos on Firefly's main site It looks like an absolute pleasure to use. Someone will no doubt be here soon to say that there is no best vape

Welcome to site, there are MANY posts similar to this (quite a few this week it seems). Good job on your research. Start with the Airizer Solo - it is a very good first vaporizer.

If you want something to feel similar to combustion - the Lotus Vaporizer is FAST - and very good taste when you learn how to use it. But the Lotus can be difficult, especially if you are new to vaporizers.

Talking difficult, I wouldn't recommend the Firefly as a first vape seeing how all users admit there is quite a learning curve with it... (first not to combust, then afterwards to get consistent results)

Currently the "you can't go wrong" recommendation on FC is the Solo. If you can stand the fact it's not super pocketable and not very sexy, a lot of people swear by it.

I will politely disagree with the above posters on their opinion that the Lotus and the Firefly have quite a learning curve and are difficult to use. I have repeatedly tested both with new vapers and I have witnessed zero learning curves with the Lotus and very little with the Firefly. If you have to take care not to combust with the Firefly there must be something wrong with the unit.
Both of them are leaps and bounds better vapes than the Solo concerning taste, speed of effects and usage, durability, pocketability, stealthiness and many other words! I had to eras of Solo usage and I am not going back... I doubt many people that have tried those two would consider a Solo but who knows for sure...
I would go for the FF if I wanted to vape in public and Lotus for two minute visits to a restroom or behind a bush! I would get both eventually for different scenarios. And an Indica for ultimate stealth in public although it should be behind in taste and speed! :)

As for Pax... Just go with the Indica, much better!

@natural farmer : you are welcome, because in all honnesty I'm just forwarding what I believe is the current FC consensus, so your hands-on experience with the FF is appreciated.

That being said, I don't own a FF but I got a Firewood 2.1 and they are both manual-drive convection units. And no matter how thoroughly I chew it, I can't say that there is just a "little learning curve". Will a noob get one hit or two without too much trouble and combusting? Surely. Will they be able to completely extract a bowl until it's fully depleted? No way! I don't succeed myself (yet) and I've had my FW for several months already...

I could recommend the Ascent but I don't want to open another...:worms:

They built the Firefly so their gramma can use it!!! From what I have heard it's easier than the FW and much more powerful...

Hi guys, I just want to say thanks a lot for your help, it's really appreciated.
But one thing, this won't be my first vape since i had the MFLB for almost 1 years and that why the firefly isn't an option for me because it's basically a luxurious version of the mflb.

Secondly, it turn out being really too long being really baked with my mflb, i always needed to change the small bucket and finishing the bucket needed around 10 hits.

So just wanted to remember you that discreteness isn't that much of a problem for me, as long as the vape can get me really baked in a short amount of time (and ounce again, without considering the heat up time). Basically, i want big hits...

Thanks again for your replies.

Ps : the price is not a problem either and i don't care so much about difficulty

Ps2 : the lotus is either not an option for me

Ha! Out of all our vapes, the one that feels closer to smoking a joint is the FlowerMate Vapormax V: it's fast in-your-face high temperature clouds, super user-friendly (just hand over to the person and say "draw"), very low maintainance... and cherry on the cake, you can buy several for the price of one single vape from other brands!

When I want to lay-back and have a flavorful low-temp session that lasts long, I use the Ascent, when I need a quick fix in under 5 minutes, I grab the FM (or the FW when the gf is not around, as the FM is hers! but as I said with the FW it's not super efficient but at least it's fast and sessions can be very short)

PS: if you go the FM route make sure to get the latest 5S version.

PS2: the Ascent can also do short high temp sessions, it's versatile, but that's somehow missing its best qualities that are flavorful low-temperature "glass on glass" sessions

Both The Hammer and the Solo would be great for what your wanting i think, and along with natural farmer i think the lotus is worth a look i've not used one but spoken face to face to a couple of people that swear by it.
If size doesn't matter i say take a look at the Daisy Vaporizer it's GIANT but portable, It's been blowing me away along with anyone who's used it since i got it. Can't recommend anything else i've ever used over it if your looking for a very Quick Big hitting sweet tasting vape.
The Daisy is a game changer for me (and thats how them people speak of the Lotus). My hammer and solo still get used a bit and I really like 'em both a lot but Hittin' Daisy is so heavenly she's getting the bulk of my attention these days.

Thanks for your reply !

And if you have to choose between the hammer and the solo, wich one would you suggest me?

Solod out.
Check out the inh005. Really great for someone coming from combustion, better than the solo IMO. So powerful and portable. The Solo really isn't a pocket friendly vape..

As per your 2nd condition I would say the Hammer fills the bill, I can do much faster sessions with the hammer.

They are pretty different animals in use so they aren't as easy to compare as it may seem.

But;
The solo does take a session of at least 10-12 minutes to get what i want from a bowl if not longer. The Hammer allows me to finish the same amount of herb in 3-4 minutes(starting with a cold hammer) or stretch it out for hours if i want.

You do have to work the hammer to get your hits (tough job but someone needs to do it) While the Solo is kinda mellow in that it's no work at all but setting a temp then taking hits til done.

Review both the Hammer and Solo threads a bit more before you decide, You never know ...

I think the general feeling in the FF thread is that there is a learning curve involved before getting it *just right.* I don't recall too much problem with combusting, other than some faulty units earlier in the thread. I think the problem is that people can over darken their material while learning how to use it.

Also, it has been brought up before that the FF is just a luxurious version of the MFLB, and it has been, IMO, refuted.

FF fanboy? You bet I am.

FWIW, I think the Indica or Pax seem like good fits here. :2c:

Not hearing a lot of people reccomend the Pax. For some odd reason I've seen it rank 1st on a few review sites?
I was really torn between Pax and Firefly but I think FF is a better choice for me, plus I don't like to inhale too hard and apparently you have to draw pretty hard on the pax!
