E-Cigarette (not for THC use)

FWIW... as a long time (2 years) e-cig user, and a short time BHO user (first time last week) I must confess I was impressed with the Biansi atomizer with a lave tube. My daily ecig is a lave tube with a Kangertech and it has served me well. After much reading on-line, I tried a BHO extraction with some ABV. I've seen a bunch of "cannabis" atomizers on here lately, but thought I'd try the BHO on a conventional e-cog atomizer. The Biansi atomizer has an exposed coil with a tiny, replaceable wick. I simply removed the wick, dabbed the BHO directly on the coil and tried it out.

Must say, it was very effective. While the yield of BHO from my ABV was minuscule, the effect was quite pleasant. Wish that I had more BHO to play with.

In the end, I think I'll be sticking with flowers, but for those who are fond of oils, this does seem a good way to go. I can't quite work myself up to doing an extraction on perfectly wonderful flowers, but if I were to find myself traveling extensively, I'd have to give extractions serious consideration, as they are SUPREMELY smuggleable.

Final conclusion... there are several products sold for "e-cigs" that work perfectly well with cannabis without having to pay the extra dough. Aside from that, culpable deniability seems a bit easier with traditional "e-cig" products. Biggest problem I've seen is that e-cigs are still so new that they are scrutinized very closely by LE either way. Of course, not having it labeled with some reference to cannabis seems to help with such intrusions.

so i cracked and jumped on the rebuildable bandwagon with a taifun gs. i wish i had switched over sooner. Easier to do than i thought and way cheaper upkeep than buying anything non rebuildable, just the initial cost to worry about.

I just deleted five posts because they were either about THC or response to posts about THC. Please try to stick to the topic, and if the topic specifically excludes something then please respect that.

Okay....my wife smokes and I got her on an ejoy ecig and it is giving me/her trouble. She wants a mod so I am researching it...grrrrr. This stuff is much more confusing than vaping weed to me. Here is where I am at on this and I need some help/opinions. The hot unit is the vamo 5 but I don't want to go variable because I don't get all the ohms/watts/whatever. My wife really won't want to mess with settings. I am leaning towards the hcigar nemisus. That is the first step which is a doozy. Sounds simple but because these are all made by different sweat shops. :uhoh: I am stumped on where to buy one. They range from 29 bucks to 50 or so. The tank I think I want the nautilus BVC 5ml tank. The mini is everywhere, do I want the mini instead? Oh and batteries and charger, the easy part, NOT! I think I want samsung IMR batteries. Or do I ? This is especially tuff do to the fact that I DON'T SMOKE! This is for the wife.
I am so confused. Please help me!

@Newcastle, the nemesis is a great mod to start with. they are everywhere and are proven workhorses of a mod. im not into VV/VW devices either. i just want an on/off switch and thats it. the only way to be sure you are not buying products made in sweat shops is to buy american/european mods. anything from china is questionable IMO... that goes for clones AND authentics alike. you just cant know for sure. some say that the clones and authentics come off the same assembly lines sometimes. problem is that american/european mods are never as cheap as the stuff from china. so having said that you may want to stay away from a nemesis. its hard to say. i am guilty of buying cheap china clones myself because of the price, but i will be rethinking this moving forward. so if choosing a mod wasnt confusing enough for ya... youre welcome! lol you can check out madvapes.com as they have quite a few devices made in the USA that are priced similar to china stuff. good stuff to start on.

the only thing she will need to worry about safety wise is using a tank that has a coil with a resistance that is within the batterys limits. as long as you arent sub-ohming (most pre MFG coils arent sub-ohm) then most protected 18350/18650 cells are safe. i would suggest to get the nautilus. people seem to really love them and they dont have leaking issues. the size of the tank should be determined by how often she wants to fill it. they perform the same (same coils) just hold dif amounts of liquid. so get the nautilus, and equip it with coils in the 1.5-2.5 ohm range, and use it with any protected 18350/18650 you choose. that is a safe set up.

check out Efest cells. they are quality and dont cost as much as some of the big name brand cells. just a thought for starting out. if you know she will continue to vape then you may want to get the better cells up front. chargers... look at the Efest, or nitecore. this charger is what i am after. itll charge almost anything you throw at it and will safely do so. $30 now and it will last for years.

i hope this helps!

*EDIT* nm the madvapes suggestion. looks like their selection has gone the way of the clone. if your gonna buy a china mod, but want to get it from the US check out vaperoyalty.com.

I have a number of those taifuns. They are fantastic.

yeah, i've mainly used the taifun gs for the past 6 weeks or so; pand i am still pretty happy with it. if it's fouled during work then after work i may be too lazy to rebuild it and just use the iClear 30S until i get around to rebuilding it.

But the 30S is way less satisfying to me after getting used to the taifun.
The most ofI've gone is about a day and a half without cioming back to the taifun.

Actually, i eventually, had leaking prolems out the center screw at the bottom of the connector. Have moved on to an Ehpro Kayfun nano, that seems to not leak (at least as long as i wick it properly.
