No Color on Ti Nail?

I noticed a lot of peoples Ti nails turn a blueish color, almost like an oil slick color. I am using a mini-rig with a very small 10mm Ti nail and while I get great flavor, there is no color on my nail like I see on others. And after about 3 weeks of use I have a lot of oxidation on the nail.

How can I tell if my nail is safe to use?

Is it a name brand or a cheap China nail. Can you post a picture.

Most likely a cheap china brand, I am not sure what brand it was on the package but it had a skull on it and that was about it. I will take a pic when I get home today

If your nail isn't changing colors during the seasoning process it's probably not ti. You should have blues, and purples almost immediately.
