Poll: Induction vs Existing Concepts modding (DIY)?

Possible or not? If so which one would seem closer to success?

Salutations everybody,

These are a few "concepts" i could identify as potential candidates for future eventual Induction Heat modding, after i looked at a collection of pictures i keep on disc for my own convenience... I didn't think over this twice, only a couple minutes were used to put my suggested brands/codels on the present IH modding list, including those i couldn't include actually:

Yes - Purple Haze!
Yes - ThermoVape!
Yes - Vape Lifter!
Yes - Vapo-Bowl!
Yes - Vaponic/Vapbong (see LoxLux Designer Heater)!
Yes - Vapor Genie Glass Bat!
Yes - VaporPipe!
Yes - VaporStar!
Yes - Verdamper!
Yes - VripTech Vapor Bat!
Yes - VripTech VripMaster HeatWand!

...and i'd even expect a few more were forgotten.

The rest is all yours!

I could see a Modded Thermovape T2 Induction vape.... :o

Salutations,

The idea captured my attention for a while then i realized something doesn't fit: the TV Cera LL is meant to offer convection in 2 options, metal or ceramic. Well, perhaps some recent Evoke posts about a proprietary alloy (for its screen) happened to inspire me this other candidate instead:

The inlet path was only one aspect i noticed, its LED feature seemed like a missed opportunity to me:

In such an hypothetical Inhalater version i figure if a lightguide results in freedom from wires then why not use a wireless (IH) heater element, after all!...

What do you say SameOldTim?

Seems like induction based dabbing would be great with a concentrate pad such as the ones the volcano and herbalizer use. Perhaps a curie alloy concentrate pad?

Salutations Terpenoid,

Pads or capsules (etc.) indeed! As a matter of fact i'm not convinced a Curie pad (or else) should even need to glow for dabbing, knowing it can be continuously heated at a stable temperature defined by simple alloy selection: e.g. multiple capsule alloys would correspond to a variety of task-specific Curie points...

Here's some potential Curie temperature targets (chosen with my LAVA fantasy in mind):

100 °C (212 °F) TD561-1
131 °C (268 °F) TD561-3
183 °C (361 °F) SV314-6
190 °C
(374 °F) Ni-SPAN-C 902
198 °C (388 °F) SV287-5
199 °C (390 °F) SV302mod-1
204 °C (399 °F) SV317-1
229 °C (444 °F) SV317-6
238 °C (460 °F) SV285mod-6

It turns out 2 of these were also mentioned in Evoke's dedicated thread earlier today, perhaps a more appropriate temperature can be found to suit your suggested purpose, using the resources i've referenced to in there...

UPDATE

Now that i look back at it i find the HA v2.1 glass-filled nylon casing has the exact shape i'd expect for a LavaAir IH vaporizer (!) - which i just invented out of my day-dreaming, only a few seconds ago...

Well, something has to be done about that timer anyway! But why should there be a timer in the 1st place, considering over-heating issues can be assumed to have been fixed with help from the Curie effect, hopefully...

Salutations everybody,

This is an Arizer Solo bent Glass Stem with fresh-air inlet channels engraved into its surface, starting with the bowl's edge which allow airflow guided through those channels:

Below that could be a LavaAire IH wand meant to maintain compatibility with the present HerbalAire units:

Only, with fresh-air arriving from above, i'm afraid this IH wand model wouldn't support balloons - which wouldn't even be felt as a loss should this be about a LavaSolo instead...

A black HA ballon mouthpiece + white teflon straw connector system combined to some short PVC tube section would add a flexible (buffer) layer to reduce the likeliness of damage, with a cotton ball sitting under to filter out particles - except there would be no need for a teflon-tape joint, of course.

:D

Aluminium is non-magnetic and it also happens to be an excellent heat conductor which cools off rapidly once heat is removed, after all the IH core can be integrated as suggested in my linked post:

Yes it fits, though there's a metal screen in HA's crucible while in the present case i figure my 3rd (top-of-bowl) puck is what would be visible, to keep flame/torch heating as an option.

Anyway i believe this could effectively implement Bi-Energy (Butane) for ultimate convenience, at least i can tell i've used "Plan-B" daily in my modded VG pipe and it works fine.
