Your Most Favorite "Untrue Myth" ?

My favorite is:

Daddy Longlegs are the most poisonous / venemous spiders on Earth, but their fangs are not long enough to penetrate human skin.

Mythbusters tacked this one a while ago, as have many others.

But seriously, how did it last so long? With so many of them around so many humans, and yet no case of injury? Come on.

Any more you'd like to add? Chances are you'd be doing a good service.

Hmm. I'm afraid I don't know ANYTHING about dabbing so I can't really comment. Although I am curious if some other FC'ers feel differently?

Am curious about this one, as I hope to start dabbing one day...

Not to derail your thread, I'll be as brief as possible.
If you ever decide to dab concentrates in the future, don't worry about it, most nails out there are made of safe materials like glass, quartz, titanium, ceramic, etc.
You'll be ok if you ask around these forums.
I really didn't expected any response to my post, it was mostly done as a half jokingly, half true.

One think that never ceases to amaze me is how as humans defend myths when we have no clue and don't take the time to investigate, and yes religion has a lot of them, without offending our Roman Catholic fellow FC members ( I grew up catholic BTW)
Where does the myth of abstaining from meats other than fish on Fridays during lent came from?
I did my home work and found the truth, and it has nothing to do with Christianity.

My favorite is that Cannabis is a gateway drug and is extremely dangerous - I love that one, boy was I surprised when I started to smoke and did my research into how "dangerous" it really is.

Oh, and I always love the myth that all stoners are looser who sit on a couch in their parent's basement and do nothing all day because they have no job. How many of us prove that stereotype wrong!
