somebody mentioned earlier about cust service! i called vivape with just some questions..and they called back within the hour. sat on the phone with the guy for about 20 min as he answered every question i had! i have spoke with other co's that it seemed to be a bother for them to "talk" but vivape was very professional..and made me feel part of a family that just made me want one even more! cust service means alot to me..and they have won me over there..just throwin that out there..

I would love for this company to actually deliver, but they've been all talk for almost two years.

Yes, Dan is responsive.

They are nice peeps! I like the Vivape at the top of the heat range, but use it in a designated area where I can walk away from it when finished. The fan is too loud!

Its a fan so its gonna make some noise. Its barely noticable when compared to the volcano. I have yet to try any new ones like herbie or the new vapir, but compared to the oter bag models on the market the vivape is either at the Same level of noise or quieter... Thats just my opinion on it though... I do wish you could turn off the fan in whip mode, but beggers cant be choosers

I'm giving my vV2 to a friend who wants to start vaping. It was a fantastic vape to get me going and it served me well for over a year before I retired it. Time for it to inspire another budding vaporist.

....if the vivape only had a switch for the fan,...like a dimmer switch.
I have 2 ssvs,..solo,..extreme,..no2,..assorted glass and whatnot,...
And that being said,..if i was stranded on weed island,..and could pick one method/device to use...it would be my vivape....
Its a tank,..
But the damn fan,,...the FAN!!

i dont think a fan will bother me too much. i like to stir between pulls anyways..so to just pull and stir will be no issue! and i believe the fan is to blow constantly to keep the heating element from breaking as well. but with the cust service i personally received..mixed with the style..and from what i hear everywhere..performance..i cant wait to get to try the machine..!!

Yeah, beat customer service ive experienced. Fan was annoying at first but its so quiet its easy to get used to and taking out the whip between hits really prolongs a session. And that is correct since its an all glass heating element and the unit gets quiet hot it is needed to keep the heating element from breaking...

Mivape is apparently debuting, for the second time, at champs today!?! Lets hope its for real this time. They tweaked it a bit and looks much better than the old prototype they had

well..got a vivape! have only had a few days to mess with it..and what i can say right now..is this thing is awesome! i hear ppl say they wish the fan wasnt on constantly//but for me there was no issues with the fan. i am one who likes the ritual of stirring. i was concerned about how hard the glass would be to seperate between hits..and it was very easy. didnt stick too bad at all. ive been starting my vape at aroung 350..ending around 368. i will play more with temps unless someone has some pointers on temps! the thing is not heavy..but you can tell theres quality in the build. so untill after more playing and getting to know the machine better..i would definitely suggest this vape. i know of other vapes that to get better performance u have to buy all different adapters..hoses..elbows and what not. but for the vivape..right out of the box..is a screamin machine. no additions needed. just fill..and blow clouds. again..if anyone has temp tips..and bag temps and tricks..im all ears. great job vaperfection on a killer..fun machine!

@gadabout i like to stay around the 340F for whips and 350-360 for bags but i prefer the low temps. Start there and raise it 5-10 degrees at a time if you dont like those temps

Hey guys & gals,

I'm going to bump this thread since my account is new here. I have a Vaporfection Stealth 2 vds that I bought several years ago. I really enjoy it, but I don't use it as often as I could. I'm looking for some feedback for water coolers to use with it. I see that they have two different water coolers on their site. Is the difference just in size? Are there better options?

Thanks for any feedback.

MF

Sorry for the late reply. Yes only difference is size. I had a large. Worked well, would recommend it.

I would also recommend any water or hydratube or bubbler. You can get whip adapters from multiple sources. Pm me if you want to find one... Little more expensive but i never used the aqua tube after i bought a bubb

As a long time volcano owner and a long time vivape owner, I can assure you something is not right. I would never choose the volcano over the vivape. And the vivape is one of the best vaporizers I've ever used as far as taste goes.

Anyway enough of that, Dan at vaporfection saw your post he asked me to let you know that you should call or email them. You can submit a form on their website. Or email dan directly at dan@vaporfection.com or their phone number is tel:1-866-997-6111

Dan or whoever should get you where you need to be. He'll take care of you. Best customer service in the business

So Mud you are still using your vV2? I just posted in the Herbalizer forum that I just gave away my vV2
and bought a Herbalizer. Just got it today so I can't compare the two yet, but there are some youtube video's comparing the vV2 and the Volcano. Pretty interesting.
Didn't you have a MyVape on pre-order also, or did you end up getting your money back?

I traded it a few months ago. But I had both the volcano and Vivape for 2+ years each. Yes the volcano fills up bags a little faster and any size and you can turn the fan off which is nice. But the vivape is more versatile, functions well in both modes has a quieter fan and tastes amazing.

At the moment I don't have any desktop vapes. I'm sure the herbalizer is amazing. But I can't justify the price. Let me know what you think, iis it still a little more than 2x more expansive then the vivape? And no other company offers 24 hr replacement extended warranty options. Which is the greatest accesory I ever bought.

I Got my money back long ago, but the Mivape should be released in the next few months and the second it is I will buy it!

Yes, the Herbalizer was like $787.00 with taxes so one of the most expensive out there.
I like the ability to use concentrates with it, so that was part of the appeal to me.

So far so good, the main difference I have seen (in one day of use) is the lack of solid
vapor like the vV2. That machine sat me down once and had me clinging to the armrests of the chair for a bit! The whip chamber on the vV2 also holds more flower, which I like.

It will be interesting to see if the MiVape ever see's the light of day, I will certainly take a look if it does!

just bought a viVape 2.

it was deciding between this and the extreme Q but my friend has an extreme q so I went with something different.

I have a feeling this one will make cleaner bags.
We'll see.

Also any tips for a new VV2 user?
I understand this works with the DBV wands.

I'm going to start off at 340F for bags.
any tips/tricks are greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club! And let me tell you, you definitely made a great decision. I'm sure you've used it some already but it's definitely an upgrade of the ExtremeQ. They're a good company but too much metal, plastic and that weird mica thingy they had issues with melting early on...

Anyway back on point, yes DBV wands work, any 14mm(I believe that's the right size) will work. I used to have a mad scientist set up with a bunch of random adapters and joints to make my unit whipless(really all glass)...but as wands go I would def recommend the dbv wand over stock... 340 is a good starting point but that was my whip temp bags use higher fan speed so I may suggest 350. The highest I've ever set mine is 380 FYI (I'm a low temp vapor though so your need might be different)

Obviously take the wand out in between bags and/or hits in whip mode. Besides that can't really think of anything if you have questions feel free to ask.
