vaporizer review blogger
got a new one for you guys! It's called the Haze Vaporizer. Does look interesting! Bit like a mix of the indica and the pax.
It has two ovens like this one http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/rapid-fire-marketing-new-dry-herb-vape.8998/ might be the same company
Check their website for more infos

will definitely follow up on this one!

I saw this today as well and came here to see if there was a thread on it yet. This looks a conduction vape, correct?

I like the removable battery . . . I think that should pretty much be standard on all units. Nothing better than having a few backup batteries when you know you are going to be away from a power source!

And for sale on 4/20. It will be interesting to see if they can make that date. There is a massive potential market for a truly convenient portable. I really hope one of these upcoming vapes is the one.

I dont really see how this is discrete at all....it looks like a flask. Id feel much more awkward/worried about people seeing me use it than my pax or thermovape thats for sure.

I just came across this review lol. It is some good ol' boy who sounds like a Southern Jeff Spicoli. He says it is good. Sorry but that is enough for me to stay away from this one. For some reason this guy was selected by the manufacturer to receive a unit but he seems to have very little knowledge about vaporisers based on the video.

Man, I got an email about this months ago, they wanted me(Guessing a lot of people) to come down to their office and get one free of charge to try out and review(Actually they were gonna give me 100 bucks on top of it, damn), sadly I was not in the right state :-/.

Looks pretty neat really.

I emailed the company and asked them to compare it to the pax and solo along with some other questions on the air path and what not heres the nice email i got back.

Thank you for your interest in Haze. Our vaporizer is primarily a hybrid of convection and conduction style vaporizers. The herb has no direct contact with the heating chamber since it sits in a stainless steel screen bucket and the screen is in direct contact with the heating chamber. Heated air flows through the herb making it extremely healthy to vaporize. The air-path is not all glass but it has a patented enclosure which isolates it from the internal device. With the glass mouthpiece, it delivers the purest taste possible. The patented heat exchange system is what makes our unit superior to competition like Pax, DaVinci or Solo. Pax has a restricted air path which makes each draw very hard. You will notice that our path is very open and allows smooth drawing. Pax mouthpiece gets extremely hot if you take deep draws. You will notice that our mouthpiece stays cool at all times. Arizer Solo, our advantage over Solo is the fact that we have 1.5 times more herb space (two bowls combined) than Arizer Solo. We are also half the size of Solo and half the weight of the Solo which makes us extremely more portable. Our battery is the same capacity as Solo internal battery but we are twice as efficient using the battery due to our size and heat exchange mechanism. Our mouthpiece is removable but stays in the unit during usage and carrying. Solo mouthpiece needs to be removed at all times. Pax has 3 heat settings where we have 4. Our unit can use Oils and Herbs at the same session. Solo and Pax is dry herb only. Pax and Solo has internal batteries. We have external ( 2 batteries come in the package). It means that If you take Pax or Solo to hiking, camping or a concert, you will need to find electric source (wall, car etc) to charge those. Ours, you can take several fully charged batteries with you and you can vape all weekend without a need to charge batteries.

Cleaning is very easy. Mouthpiece is removable. All you need to do is to remove the mouthpiece, insert a alcohol que tip into the chamber and that’s all it needs for cleaning. Package comes with a tweezer and shovel tool as well as a two sided brush tool for further cleaning and maintenance. Since your herb has no contact with the heating bowls, the bowls stay clean at all times. All you need to clean is the vapor chamber as I mentioned (with a que tip)

The unit will be available for retail by the end of June. Currently we are filling pre-orders.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.

I picked one up on pre order a few weeks back. Vaporizerusa.net is distributing for them and they had a promo for 20% off so got it around $220. Still waiting for it to ship so it's encouraging to hear they are shipping preorders. Hope it's actually true. I am going on a trip in a few weeks and would love to have this along.

I am intrigued by this device. I own a pax and love everything but the cleaning which is really not all that bad but a bit of a annoyance. This should be easy to clean.

I also love the on the go features of the dual bowl and the removable batteries.

Only thing I worry about it the vapor travel path. How do you clean it? They say you only have to clean the mouthpiece but what about the rest of the path. There has to be some sort of resin buildup but how would you get to it without tearing the device apart?

I will post when I get it with my initial impressions. I will be comparing it against the pax, extreme Q (also own but am shopping on CL) and the Ascent (recently sold).

Nice im looking forward to hearing your review on this, i thought the same thing about the vapor path since the herb isent going in the top of the unit you would think the resin has to build up
somwhere other than the mouth piece.

Here is the latest and greatest that I am not too happy about. I will update when they respond. ....

Email to Haze yesterday. ...

Hi, I read on a blog that you are shipping preorders but I haven't seen anything yet. I have a trip planned in a week and am interested in bringing this along.

Can you give me a more accurate ship date at this point?

Thanks
Scott

Their response this morning......

Hi Scott

We just shipped all accessories to our vendors and units will be available in couple weeks. We will have a more certain date tomorrow. Please check back with us tomorrow.

My response to that. ......

Hi Jamie,

I have to say that I am a bit disappointed by this news. I paid for this unit almost a month ago under the assumption it would be shipped by the last week of May/first week of June. The money is out of my account but I have nothing to show for it and now it's another month and it might ship?

I also pre ordered some accessories but what good are those without the unit? More money out of my account for products I don't have.

The blog I read said you were also shipping pre orders already and that info came from Jamie Sutherland (which I assume is you) so now I am really confused. Based in the info below I thought I would have this already......

Here is the transcript. ...

So if you can give me a more accurate update I would appreciate it. I was looking forward to reviewing this on the blog and I have people asking. This could help sell this product if you can get one to me. I will be comparing it to the Pax and the Ascent, both of which I own or have owned in the past.

One other question while I have you. How do you clean the non glass air way path? I understand the glass mouthpiece is removable for easy cleaning but resin will no doubt build up in the non glass path and I would like to know how that will be cleaned.

Thanks
Scott

I will post the response when I get it.

I will post the response when I get it.

So Haze has gotten back to me with a date of 6/26 of when they expect their inventory. That blows plans for taking it on a trip in just over a week.

However it's not all bad. The customer service has been outstanding.

They have answered all l my questions on the vapor path and I am going to stick with it. If you look at the videos posted on you tube from the link above there are some sections where they have it all torn apart and you can see then inside. To me it looks like the bowls feed directly into the mouthpiece channel. This being the case you should be able to remove the screens and the mouthpiece to clean those separate and then just shove a q tip with some iso down the channel where you shove in the mouthpiece. This is exactly what Haze customer service says and it looks like it will work.

Here is what else they are doing. ....

They have personally taken responsibility to fulfill my order instead of sending stock vapotizerusa.net and having them fulfill it.

What does that mean to me? One, it probably saves me a week on getting it since I don't need to wait for Haze to send them back out to their distributor's. Two, I keep the sale pricing of $220 instead of the full $250 pricing from Haze direct.

Here is what else they are doing. In my back and forth conversations I had mentioned that I also purchased some accessories (extra screens, oil cans, and extra mouthpiece and a couple extra batteries). Due to the "inconvenience" of the fulfillment delays they told me that all these supplies are in them!

They also pulled that order from vapotizerusa.net and will send those items for free when the main unit comes in! Totally unexpected and nice to hear!

So am I happy about the extra delays? No.

However they seem to be doing whatever possible to make it right and this unit looks pretty damn sweet so it's worth an extra couple weeks to me.

I will check back when I get it. Fingers crossed I am using it by July 4th at this point. ...

Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Can't wait.

Also own a Pax and a former owner of a DaVinci Ascent so interested to compare.

Scott,

Not a big fan of DaVinci at all. It was so hard to use and difficult to clean. I am a big fan of my Pax. Although this one looks more interesting, I doubt that it will be as efficient as Pax. I bought it for the sake of dual bowl function, doing both dry herb and oil together. So although it may not be as efficient as Pax, it should be fun but we will see when we get it I guess. Did you get any accessories with it?
