This could be a good thing for some people that need it medicinally or if someone wanted to use it for recreational fun. But I could see this product abused in some cases by someone with evil motives. Maybe this is something that has mild reactions, we don't know yet. Or this maybe something that is really strong, it probably depends on how much you use.

I'm curious to see the comments of people that have used this product and some of their stories. It could be a very interesting read.

Sorry to rain on the parade folks, just my 2 cents worth.:2c:

Intra-nasal, anal, vaginal, sublingual (under tongue), transcutaneous and other mucosal epithelial tissue methods for cannabinoid administration may work, to the extent that the active agents diffuse through these tissues into the blood stream. But I presume this at best happens at a low level, or otherwise people would be and would have long been using these routes of administration. Simply stated: If mucosal administration worked well (enough), we'd all know about it.

It is common knowledge that ingestion, involving diffusion through stomach mucosal/epiithelia tissues into the bloodstream, is rather inefficient (compared to lung alveoli). I presume these other methods would be comparably (in)efficient or worse, with these other tissues not designed/used primarily for absorption of foreign substances, having less exposed surface area, etc..

Salutations Vap999,

...otherwise people would be and would have long been using these routes of administration.

Euh... The recreational side?... Well i guess i may lack imagination after all!

Anyway it would be a good idea to check for potential allergies first...

This sounds like the start of a good time. I want to have sex with a girl who uses this to see what it's like. I'll probably end up trying it later in life once I'm settled down and have found a wife.

But yeah I can see some sick fuck raping girls and spraying this on them as someone pointed out. Just to fuck with them and make them feel good as they have something bad done to them. :/

:shakes head:

Edit: I haven't looked this up but isn't the anal route supposed to be very effect? I remember reading that. I'll never stick something up my butt but it's still interesting.

This is one product that the less THC, the better. Lubrication is important, but I want to see the slippery astroglide-type. A high THC blend sounds like it would create an unpleasant, resinous coupling.

I'll never stick something up my butt but it's still interesting.

That statement is the first step on the road to sticking things up your butt. :uhoh:

I've been looking into this stuff, actually. The article isn't too bad, although shame on them for missing out "not condom safe", and if the author is a cis guy, you do wonder why they didn't get someone who actually has a vagina to write it. Reports have generally been good, though it's overpriced. Foria also make a vaginal pessary/suppository, combining THC and CBD this time, for treating menstrual cramps.

Rectal administation of medical marijuana has quite a following, judging by the discussions I've been finding online. People report that it's less likely to get you high, which is what medical users tend to prefer. There is also some discussion about absorption. You do absorb things rectally much faster than you do orally, and supposedly you will absorb a lot more, though discussion goes back and forth on this. Not that many people commenting were talking about how effective it is for pain relief, so it was hard to tell. If you're using it in the hope that it will treat cancer, for instance (something I'm very doubtful about), you presumably can't tell how efficiently it's doing so when you switch methods.

There's less known about vaginal administration. Some people have concerns about yeast infections, although I'm wondering if the alleged higher incidence of yeast infections amongst people who smoke weed is due to the effects of smoking, in particular smoking tobacco along with the weed, on the immune system. From what I've gathered, the vagina should work as well as rectal administration. If you have a vagina, it's probably easier to do it that way, and many people have problems with pelvic pain where this would be a more appropriate treatment method.

Has anyone tried it?

I went to a festival where the on site herbalist witch women were selling hallucinogenic lube made with fly agaric (spelling) mushrooms. Not sure about weed lube, just not sure it would be practical? Measuring dose in an intimate situation might be a bit difficult etc

If it's vagina safe it's probably food safe so you cloud always eat it

I made a batch for a friend of a friend, haven't heard back yet though. My recipe is here if you're interested, it's super easy and cheap to make.

Thanks. I assumed it was a simple matter of using liquid coconut oil and then the usual infusion method. Did you strain it? I'm also a bit surprised at putting in essential oils or fragrances, which is the last thing I'd want to do to something being applied to mucous membranes!

No straining, I used absolute QWET shatter so it just melts into a clear, contaminant free liquid. I only used a few drops of essential oil, by itself it's a bad idea but mixed in minute quantities is fine. The lips on your face are also mucous membranes but there's usually a shitload of essential oils in lip balms. It's just a matter of selecting the right ones, vanilla and lavender are pretty benign but something like tea tree or oregano oil will burn like a motherfucker.
