Vaping twice. The smoking / indica high ?

Dude, I said low CBD. Not no CBD. My point was that both sativa and indica have very low CBD counts on the vast average, even when dealing with mostly pure genetics in either direction.

For all the people, who don´t believe in me, i found the text, where stands, what i wrote. It is from sensi seeds, a serious source.

Sativa = low cbd content
Indica = high cbd content

Indica strains of cannabis generally have a medium to high THC content as well as a comparatively high CBD content. Sativa strains normally have medium to high THC and a relatively low CBD content.

The key word here is "comparatively". The fact of the matter is that you are still going to see very small CBD counts (usually under 1%) regardless of strain type, again unless you get something which had been specially bread for high CBD content such as Cannaquin (over 5%).

Fuck combustion, but fuck conventional vaping. VAPE WITH FIYAH!

It's very hard to tell the strain from dried buds, at least to me. These days indica and sativa looks a lot alike if not the same with hydroponic grows.

I think, when you look at the leaves, you can see it.
The typical marihuana sign mostly looks like a sativa, with thin leaves.
Indica is the opposite. May be it is possible to see the sativa content at the leaves.

This picture demonstrates the diference. I would not wonder, when the apghan kush ( 90 % indica ) is not really an indica, and has thin leaves ( low cbd ? ).

I find it just the opposite. Although I hardly pick up buds since starting to vape.

Do you know how to tell them apart?

The easy way without looking at the leaves is to pick out one with as sparse orange hairs as you can find and loaded with crystals. This one is sativa.

The one with a large number of orange hairs, regardless of crystals is an indica.

I find that it is easier to label anything inbetween as a hybrid.

Hope this helps.

Sativas are mostly euphoric highs, lifts the user's mood and induces ample stress relief which could also be used as a natural anti-depressant.

Indicas tend to be a natural muscle relaxant, acts as an analgesic, and also reduces insomnia.

LOL, you should check how many MJ forums hes been booted from before landing here. I highly doubt this is new or unexpected for him.

Anyone who is having a hard time determining if it will be an indica or sativa high needs to pick up a jewelers loop or some type of magnification. A close up of trichs can give you a lot of info if you know what you are looking for. Generally indica a have shorter fatter trichs wile sativas tend by stretch a bit like the sativa plant does. This is just a general statement and not always the case of course. Also clear, cloudy or amber trichs will let you know the type of high. As Thc degrades into cbd it ambers, so a bud with amber trichs was harvested later therefore the Thc has started to degrade to cbn.

And sativa vs indica is 100% based on the plant type. A sativa dominant plant harvested with Amber trichs will still give you an indica type high... But it's still a sativa period

Edit for references- me;) And 5 years of growing experience. I'm by no means an expert but I'm learning more everyday

@Vapewithfire I understand what you're trying to say but you have to remember connecting sativa with energetic, and indica with relaxing, is an old method. Those terms are really for how the plant grows, not necessarily its effects. The essential oils that give the plant its odor and taste are whats really giving these effects when they are combined with the cannabinoids. Look on nugporns YouTube page to find out more.

As far as vaping twice to get a more relaxing effect, you can do that but its more effective if you start of boiling off the lower compounds at say 365f, then once you see no vapor at this temperature, raise the temperature to around 430-445f. This high temperature will help increase the oxidation of the THC into CBN and give that feeling you want. The reason you want to get out the lower compounds first is because if you don't and just start out at a high temperature, the condensed compounds that form a cloud will keep the incoming air from being too hot so not enough heat will be used to accelerate oxidation. It will also be less oxygen in the thick cloud. If you are using regular or mediocre bud, you may be able to go up in temp for the first puff because that type of bud doesn't have a lot of oils in it but with real good bud you want to do as I described.

Don't pack the bowl too much because it will cool down the incoming air quickly and help form clouds, so you want to have your herb spread out loosely and evenly.

Remember all of this is allegedly happening.

This could also work, but i thought, when you vape at normal temperature ( 200° celsius ), you nearly don´t need to switch the temperature higher. Enough cb. will be converted into cb., while you wait for the second puff.

I think you can adjust the indica / cb. content, that way.
When the first puff is long and the second short, only a bit indica would come, i guezz.
When the first puff is short, more thc should be converted into cb..
