Is the vaping high, the sativa high ( no cbd ) ?

Some love sativas, but some don´t like them and say, they don´t get stoned or too "mental".

Sativa means nearly no cbd or cbn, indica means got enough cbd & co.
I prefer indica ones, like green hash, it gives me a more calm and relaxed mind and body.
I also like sativas, but not everyday.

Medicial marihuana should be indica, i heard, because cbn makes it more valium like and less psychedelic.
Also cbd & co. has several positive effects against cramps, pain and others.
Sativa strains, especially high dose, is under suspicon to increase the risk of mental problems.

With vaping you get much less cbd than smoked, even if you vape at 250° celsius.
This could mean, the effect is much more sativa.

Is the vaping high sativa like and the smoking or high temperature vaping indica
like ?
When you smoke, you don´t just get all the cbd, some thc gets converted into cbd, i red.

This would mean, that all the pro´s and con´s for sativa strains would generally count for vaping.

Smoking indica = super indica
High temperature vaping indica = indica
High temperature vaping sativa = sativa
Low temperature vaping sativa = super sativa

I do an acid test on some strains I smoke a pure one in the day to gauge it's effects and most mess up hazey hybrids are pretty much as bad if not worse when you smoke them. Too much moby dick turns me into a zombie vaping or smoking.

I like the trippy hazes and the mess up ones but every day would be a bit much as I love the indica stone as it was mainly black I smoked as a youngster this is how my body and minds remembers being stoned.

I was wondering about this also recently . Well Kind of ...

When I used to smoke , and had the options , I would smoke
sativas during the day for the daytime stone . So I could still
function and do my job . And smoke indicas at night for that
crash down stone .

But now that I strictly vape , and that I've read the THC/CBD
have a specific Boiling point . I don't find it necessary as much
to separate which strains to vape at which times . I have different
strains on hand for different flavor/taste . And I vape it at the
same temp level on my Solo , for the most part .

So I guess my question is ;
Wouldn't the vaping Boiling points for THC/CBD be the same in both strains ?

P.S. I still buy more indicas kushes than sativas at my dispensary
tho .

poonman,
cbd boiling point and thc vaping point similar. Can't find the post with the exact temp right now, I just found out recently... I'll dig around and find it. However, basically, if you're vaping weed, you're vaping cbd as well.

I think the problem is so many hybrids have sub 1% CBD a fair few less than 0.4% CBD so vaping can intensify the jittery effect for some while vaping.

However I'm not convinced it's Purley THC/CBD ratios as some low CBD strains don't have any jittery effects and display effects of the indica genes Super Lemon Haze has pretty low cbd and high thc but gives me a balanced sativa high with a nice hint of the indica.

I've been pretty steady for a couple of months vaping chocolope throughout my days to treat chronic pain. I love the amount I can get done, feeling great while doing it. When settling in for the night give me a strong indica, God bud, Bubba Kush and the like. If I tweak my back and have to take it easy for a day or two then I would start with an indica and stay with it all day.

The boiling point should be the same, but the cb. content is much more high at the indica strains. Thats what sativa is, less to no cbd like substances.

For people, who don´t like vaping, i got an idea.
I guezz, the people, who don´t like vaping don´t really want the sativa high, they prefer the calming indica high.

I started to vape my weed twice. Instead of 1 long puff, i vape it two times, but shorter. It seems to make the high more indica ( more cbd and cbn ).

While you take the first puff and wait, a bit of the thc converts into cb. like substances ( heat ).
And when you vape it now, at a temperature about 220° celisus, the cb cocktail should rise...

Here's a list or two I got from various sources online, about temps releasing what exactly.

Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV) 145*C Analgesic, Euphoriant, Sedative
Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) 157*C / 314.6 Euphoriant, Analgesic, Antiinflammatory, Antioxidant, Antiemetic

Cannabidiol (CBD) 180*C Anxiolytic, Analgesic, Antipsychotic, Antiinflammatory, Antioxidant, Antispasmodic

Cannabidivarine (CBDV) 199*C Analgesic, Antiinflammatory, Stimulant
Cannabicitran (CBT) 203*C Est. Antibacterial, Antifungal
Cannabivarin (CBV) 206*C Anaolg of CBN. May offer similar benefits.

Thanks for the list, but it is not only about cbd. Cbn and other cbd like substances are also important for some people. Cbn can decrease the hallucinogenic effect of thc, this could be the smooth stonedness some mean.

This cb. cocktail turns it a bit into Opium or valium, i guezz.
May be that´s, what some people need, a smooth, pleasant downer to relax their body and mind. Some diseases, like shizophrenia were medicated with opium, i heard.
To give them mushrooms or lsd for medication would be totally wrong.
Means indica strains ( more cb. cocktail ) could be good for them, but hardcore sativas ( 0 % cb. ) might be too psychedelic.

In the second list you can see, that some sedatives and euphorants start to rise at 230° celsius. This could be some of the cb. cocktail.

Also i heard, that even when you vape with higher temperature, you don´t get as much cbd than smoked, because the heat of smoking converts some thc into cbn or cb. substances.

That´s why smoking makes it more indica ( cb. ) and vaping more sativa.
May be it also works with high temp vaping.
A lot love sativas, but some want and need indicas for fun and medication.

That´s a real problem, some people don´t get really stoned with vaping.
Someone wrote he has a volcano, but still smokes 1,5 Gram pure spliffs, because vaping is not stoned enough. Smokers leg and cancer...
Normally i would recommend him to switch the temp more high, but the volcano does not even reach the 230° celsius.

With some vapes, like vapman you can vape the weed twice. This could turn
some thc into cbn & co, but the temp has to be high enough, or the cb. stuff will not rise.

I was frustrated, that i couldn´t get hash or indica. All i get was a sativa with no cb. The first bowl was great, but than it became boring.

The first idea was to let the weed become much more dry, may be some cb. will come.
The second idea was to vape it twice, with my vape or fire.
I ´m sure it was more indica, especially the two times vaping.
Two times short, instead of one time long.

With indica i feel more calm and pleasant, valium like.

Perhaps I have a pheno that does that. I have got more used to it but it's proper space out. I still have about 5g left might break some more out

Never tried any of the others.

WOW hallucinations, opium, valium ... Dude no wonder MJ is considered an entry drug...

I just used those substances to describe the effects. Weed is a hallucinogenic drug, and like alcohol or cigarettes kind of gateway drug, i think.
Weed is no hard drug, but still an illegal drug.

Life is an entry drug, i guezz. I´m no fan of opium or valium, both can make addicted quickly and can cause a dangerous, painful and sleepless detox, but up to 1914 all these drugs were sold in drug stores, without any recipe.

Means the whole world is addicted to illegal drugs since hundreds of years.
Even ecstasy and heroin were available. Nothing for potheads, even testing it once can cause a 100 % Desire/Addiction, but for all the ill and addicted people the only real help, i guezz.

I never wrote, that you get hallucinations from thc, but thc is a drug, and also a hallucinogenic drug.

1. Stimulants ( tee, tobacco, speed, meth, coca, ecstasy )
2. Opiats ( O, H, M, synth. opiats )
3. Hallucinogenics ( THC, Mushrooms, lsd, 2 cb, mda... )
4. Dissoziative´s ( Ketamin, DXM, PCP )

Cannabis doesn't have to be a psychedelic to be considered a hallucinogen.

Also opium and cannabis feel insanely different. Even dabbing high-CBD oils won't feel like eating opium. I guarantee it.

I know text books have always referred to cannabis as being hallucinogenic. That reminds me a little of Refer Madness. I remember seeing it in the 6th grade at school. This was in 1970 and this movie is from 1939. They couldn't have come up with something better 30 yrs later.

I like when the narrator is talking about reefer inducing madness in people and the camera then changes to a scene where one of the high characters is driving at like 40mph and the narrator shouts,"Stop the near Insanity!".
