Old School Grommets?

So This is long shot but what the hell .

I have an old Graphix bong that I have has for 20 +years .
More than ten years ago the grommet that held the down stem wore out .

I have no Idea why I have hung on to it this long .


I was wondering if any of the great folks here on FC have ever seen one or had any idea where I could find one ?
Every thing I see online needs to be custom made and in large lots .

I recognise those. They are still commonly used in most bongs that they sell at the local sex / weed stores.
Shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement if you go and buy a cheap bong that has the one that you need.

You could probably use a rubber grommet made to protect wiring from a metal panel they come in various sizes and thickness for different size wires. Would be a cheap fix that way.

Actually I have tried a bunch of head shops here in LA over the years and have not been able to find anything .

Wish I had the manufacturer or a part number but i don't use have to buy then very often and all the info is worn off. I would check at an electrical, HVAC, industrial (Grainger) supply distributor or similar if you can't find em at a local hardware store.

With the bottom one that has the pin hole in the middle you could cut the down stem size in the thinner rubber. Good luck man.

Do you think I will be able to buy one or two or will I need to get 100 at a distributor ?
It may be hard to cut a round one . It's an oval. But that could work.

The old one is so warped it's impossible to tell the inside diameter. That said, I've never seen more than one size of those things:

I guess you can't find those in the U.S. anymore because you guys are way more sophisticated when it comes to water tools than we over here are

I think you are probably right I don't see all that much that is not glass on glass anymore unless its plastic.

Actually it glass . Graphix was a big glass maker back in the day at least out here in LA .
And I have not used it in around 15 years . I just keep dragging it around with me . I found it yesterday a thought it might be nice to get it running again !

Actually the ones on amazon and this ones I found on TOOHOTGLASS.com are round .
These are oval shaped . And a bit different . I have taken it in to hardware stores and Head shops over the years and no one can find one .

But they are custom . and I contacted this company to see if they had any ..Haven't heard back .

I am pretty sure it's the round ones, you just stretch them into an oval shape. After 10 years you can't really expect the rubber to return to its original shape.

I never tried stretching them .
I am pretty sure they had them custom made a long time ago.
And its been sitting for at least 10 years. I replaced it when the grommet went bad but never could get rid of it .
