i don't know, watched the little vid on their homepage and the display of the 9er cleary says "198°C TEMP". might just be a gimmick, though

will try to contact them, since they are based in germany and ask for further details.

Hi again MrWeed,

...the little vid... ...might just be a gimmick...

Actually i just noticed there's no middle connector to limit the number of conductive paths to 2 (e.g. usually it would leave none for a sensor), so this could very well suggest there can be thermostatic action at work here after all, because of the monoblock structure.

39.gif

Though, since there's no middle connector joint i gather it has no e-Cig seal between the halves as there is not even a division, which tells me that could be yet another of those products we need to ventilate through the cannabic bowl using our lungs...

So, i wish i had got more focussed as the later prospect would affect my own interest and hence starting from there i wouldn't want to recommend it to a guy who insists over the e-Cig format, for paradoxal stealth reasons i think (since e-Cigs have become popular and started to be seen more often every day)...

Can you please use this opportunity to also help clear the air/cannabic/venting paths matter?

:peace:

Looks to be a fan speed indicator on there. Eeeek. I just want a portable with two temps. 375, and REALLY EFFIN HOT. Keep your fan, your LCD screen, your huddled masses yearning to breath free.

I have experience with their products and that have always been the top of the bucket products since the earlier days of cigalikes These guys have the bankroll to innovate and I would bet from experience that if the say it does it, it surely does.

well, lately I've seen a lot of chinese ecigs with temperature control, but always it has something to do with variable voltage. So is it really possible to controll the temperature through voltage?! I'm not sure!

I would say adjusting wattage with a complementing ohm resistance for a goal temp would be more the way to go. I would assume it,s varrable wattage. Thats the direction that side of the industry is going

hello vapologist. can you please tell me where the additional infos are?! I always get redirected to de.v2cigs.eu when I'm klicking on the link above and there is no info about these at all. I think that's strange since this is a german company but germans can't access this page somehow?! :/

edit: okay, it works when I'm using a proxy... still strange why they have restricted the access from germany

They ban the site from your country, and then want you to review it? Either they are still planning EU rollout or ...or...I dunno. Were they receptive to you reviewing the 7 or 9? Are they lurking here?

i don't think they know where I'm located yet :D I don't have that info on my blog
however, they want to send the V2 3 and I'm not interested in it, at all :/ will see, if I can put them off until the 9 is available (or at least the 7)

I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, but it reminds me of the grasshopper. Definitely not as sophisticated, but slightly reminiscent, especially with the magnetic charger.

I can't seem to find any reviews on the dry herb attachment. It'll be interesting to see.

The dry herb cart says it works via conduction, as opposed to the GH's convective vaping.

I pre-ordered the series 9 version from the CEO. I have high hopes for tis vape. It looks like everything I want the PAX to be and more. It claims you can use it as a conduction or a convection vape. Very interesting.
This is what was said about it:
"Simply put, the only way to put more technology in your mouth, is to eat your phone". That got my attention. more info here.

I have been talking to the company and its about as easy to get information about this vape as the new Marlboro vape. They wont say a freakin thing about it other than what is posted.

V2 also does only in house testing. No beta testers on this or any series 3, 7, or 9 vape.

Unfortunately, I'm sure it will be out way before the grasshopper is.

I would wait out for the number 9. Puff count monitoring gimmick. Ha!

This is perfect for me. I am one of those tech junkies.

I agree with @Vape Dr. Looks like a great upgrade to the Pax.

I will have to wait for him though. I cannot justify owning three $250 portable vapes to my wife. Heck, I can't justify it to myself! This the reason I sold my Ascent which I would really love to have back.

However if the reviews are good and nothing equal/better comes along, I will have my Pax up on the classifieds before you can blink!

I am really interested in this vaporizer and company. I have read some very positive reviews and I find it interesting that they post lab test results of their e-juices, you can even look up by your cartridge #, and know its clean. That shows me something I like. My niece was using my T1 with an AVA and it died so I think the series 3 will make a nice replacement for her to invest in. The magnetic charger/pass through feature is cool. The leak proof design looks great. The series 7 interests me more with its 3 temp settings and increased capabilities but the price of admission is so nice on the series 3 I might just get one to play with. Looks like you can order the loose leaf cartridge but not the essential oil one yet.

Edit: It also works with nicotine gels and waxes . . interesting . . .

the V2 Pro is — as far as I’m aware — the only vaporizer designed from the ground up to handle e-liquid, loose leaf and essential oils or solid nicotine products. This makes the V2 Pro the perfect choice, for example, if you have concerns about a possible ban on flavored e-liquids. If you should ever find yourself unable to obtain e-liquid and need a way to continue getting nicotine without smoking, you’ll already have it.

Good news. My niece purchased the V2 Pro Series 3. Since she is just an e-juice user we won't be getting to try the loose leaf cartridge BUT I intend to purchase the Series 7 when it comes out, which is maximized for loose leaf, and we will have full reviews on all 3 cartridges for sure. The nice thing is I will actually get to lay my hands on one soon to check the quality and my niece will vape it through its paces for e-juice for sure. More l8tr . . . :peace:
