I'm going thyroid a warranty process due to me being an idiot, anyways I remember reading about lots of honey oil collecting under the screen when bud isn't cured/dried correctly, well my medicine is usually bone dry, but here's a pic of my box used daily multiple sessions.

I have a separate BONE DRY stash just for my box, I use the FG and it sits in the jar for quite awhile. Almost zero chance for my stuff being wet at all :) my brothers just smelled like herb terribly, I warned him!

upload to imgur.com and copy/paste the "BBC Code for forums" section into here, it'll show up when you post it ;)

Guess I gotta give the ol' girl some quick attention here, been keeping her put away and ready with a bit of kief... Got most of the responsibilities of the day taken care of and it's not even 9am yet :smug:

I'm taking my morning walk right now to one of my favorite spots! I'll post once I get there! Glad you guys are enjoying them!

Great way to get moving in the morning is to walk somewhere beautiful and relaxing, I also brought some coffee, ohhh it was a good walk.

An old friend came to visit me tonight. She was so impressed with the LB that I gave her my old faithful knowing I had an extra unopened LB as a back up.

Well, took it out of the box and the damn metal ring is misaligned so I can barely push in or pull out the battery. Is there any way to adjust this myself or is this an automatic warranty issue??

Is this a common occurance? Seems to me I've read about this happening to folks here.

Yes, it's normal. It's a spring, and loosens up a bit on it's own. It varies with battery types, and some of those are out of round enough that they fit better 'clocked' around some from the tightest spot.

If they don't start out on the tight side, you can end up with one that's too loose (used to be more common), which doesn't get better 'on it's own'.

Go ahead and enjoy it. Good karma from the gift is coming your way.

Sincerely given Launch Boxes have their work cut out for them.... for it is a habit a launch Box has trouble breaking.
The darned boxes love the joy so much, that once on their journey they subtly influence owners to continue the trend, and "pass me on again, my friend".
It is not unusual for a box to land in 4th or 5th hands.

Yeah, the only problem is I have to use my teeth to pull the battery out. And that's not easy either.

No, this is not even close to being normal.

Completely agree with that, I bought a 2n hand MFLB for a friend (I have the Solo) and yesterday when I'm going to give it to him he says "No thanks, I asked for it for you".
Now, finally, I get a little Box and I'm so happy :)

Wrap rubber bands around the batteries to get a better grip. My mouth hurts just thinking about that... It will loosen up with time.[/]

It will not loosen up in time if the spring is seriously misaligned. I tried using a flathead screwdriver to move it, but to no avail.

I will process this as a warranty. When I get my new one, I will be glad to sell this at a fantastic price (serial # scratched off). Then someone here can struggle with it and "loosen it up in time."

A new product should not be like this. Obviously, this was not inspected prior to shipment.

No worries though. I am sure MF will stand by their product. I just hate being without my precious box. I feel naked.

Peace
