Cheap Glass for the Lotus?

Hi All!

I'm really getting into glass now that I've fallen in love with my Lotus. I've been using the D020 lately as it's the only thing I have currently with water. I can't handle my J-hook by itself (dry hits aren't as enjoyable to me)

Rather than derail the Lotus thread, I figured I'd start a new thread (mods, feel free to suggest/move to a better location). I'm not quite happy with how close the lotus and torch are to my face while taking a hit. I'd like to look for something else (preferably with interchangeable mouthpieces, but that will probably cost more).

I've been looking around for something nice around or under $100 (cheaper is always better for wife's approval, ha ha). So what do you guys like?

Sounds like you're looking for a bubbler and steering away from the J-Hook ...BUT, consider this with a little water ...it works great to cool the vapor, and the distance away from the face is very comfortable:

Heh, actually I like the idea of combining a J-hook with an AC for water. I've already got something that might work, but the Lotus cap is too wide for the AC's female joint, need to get a male to female extender to make that work.

But I'm actually looking at oil rigs and bent neck bubblers. What about the D021 from the Sunshine store? I'm not seeing many people talk about that piece

Gotta tell ya ...I really like the D020 bubbler more than any of the others with a letter after it. Price is right, sized perfectly, and functions flawlessly. I use it more than my David Goldstien Micro Fritted Disc Bubbler at 10+ times the price.

I get what you're saying! Thing is, the Lotus, when lit optimally will give fireworks & clouds galore on it's own. If combustion friends don't get thrilled, they're just not payin attention!
