Use rubbing alcohol on the glass and bowl. I'd replace the tubing when it gets nasty, although you can clean it in boiling water if you want.
FYI- that dome design is a copy of the old BC Vaporizer, which was my first vaporizer, and by far the worst model/design I've ever used. If I hadn't been motivated to stop combusting, I likely would have gone back to smoking my pipe. If you're satisfied with this design, just wait until you get hold of an up to date convection model. You'll find it's a night and day difference.

Well, it's not a real efficient design. With conduction you need to grind really fine, since only the part that contacts the hot surface gets vaporized. If your herb particles are really tiny (almost powder), you have a much better chance of the heat penetrating all the way through. If the particles are too big, trying to get it all vaped is like trying to cook a hamburger without turning it over. The hot side of the burger will burn before the other side gets enough heat to cook. I found myself doing a lot of sucking with my BC vape, to the point where I'd get a headache. Loading a lot more would have given me richer hits, but while I was processing the bigger hits, the herb would have been cooking away on the hot metal. That's why convection is better. If you load a whip bowl for example, you're only cooking the herb when you mate the whip to the heater. You make contact, draw in the hot air from the vape, heating your herb and delivering your hit, then you remove the whip (and the herb with it) from the heat until you're ready for another hit. What you have can be used effectively, but you either load light and suck a lot of air, or take the chance of wasting some herb by not grinding fine enough, or loading a lot of fine ground herb and getting more vapor than you can efficiently process.
Some good inexpensive models to consider for an upgrade are the Magic Flight (also conduction but much, much better than the dome design), and the Vapolution. On that one I'd recommend their

I used a Vapo for years as my go to vape for direct draw. It's a real bargain, and if you can use a dome vape, you can handle the Vapo. Meanwhile, if the Top Vapor was enough to sell you on vapor, it's done its job.
